Y Goodbye adolescent years, and hello adulthood! :D
happy 21st birthday to ME! :D
heh, 21st. i've got the KEY to everything. especially, to your heart. :)
had a really simple yet sweet advanced celebration with CY earlier on. just nice he had nights out today! hahaha. dear, i really feel it now. :) had a really nice long chat with him too, but he's still ever so cheeky. haha! thank you, still, for being my listener 24/7. there are many things which i can't find the right words to express, so be the wormie in my tummy, and i'm sure you'll know it one day. i love you, still. :)

21 years of my life. what have i gained? what have i lost?
it's like another milestone of my life; the golden year and all that stuffs. every year has been a rollercoaster ride for me. with achievements and mistakes made in my life. from these, i learnt alot about life.
in one of my previous posts, i mentioned that i hated changes. i still do. but right now, i feel i needed a change right now. not the sort of bigbig change, but just... a change. probably, to grow up a little? there are many things which my old ways of thinking won't get me through. i need to think like an adult now.
and for my first step of a-change, i'm thinking of moving my blog!
hmmmmmm. shall start working on the layout or something.
i want to bring my life, career, relationship and wealth to a better next level!

and after the 21st, i doubt i'll be looking forward to birthdays anymore. old. haha!

i just hope the same thing won't happen again. don't make me worry liao okay? :)
anywhooooos. my weekend has been pretty simple, but pleasant enough. CY and i had Dim Sum supper at Geylang Lorong 17, followed by a midnight show down at Bishan J8 on friday night.
caught this, which i personally think has a bad twist. am i the dumb one or most viewers are like me - catch no balls. haha! however, this show has really disgusting visuals! eurgh. i still very much prefer "Alone" by the same production. :)
and on saturday, CY and i went for a walk at Chinatown, before having our dinner at Beach Cabana along ECP. pretty nice chill-out place, i must say. took a walk, before we head back. turned in pretty late that night, because i was worried. :(
hanged out a little on sunday, before it was time for CY to book in. and we saw one of the prettiest rainbow together. :) anyway, i just traded in my handphone, because my previous one went haywired already. haha!
alrightys, just a short update. 2 more days to 21st. not looking forward, because my celebration is over. haha! off to lunch. toodles~ :D

i'm so pissed off today!
what has me taking leave got to do with YOU? i'm not even collecting my salary from YOU. how about YOU going on leave for 2 long weeks, did you hear me talking about YOU, behind YOUR back? want to talk about me, say it to my face, not at my back! whatever it is, i believe all that is not something YOU should care about. and what's YOUR problem? it's MY party, and i decide who i want to invite, why make a fuss behind MY back about me not inviting YOU?

now i understand why everyone's boycotting some people.
and i realised, something is not right about me today.
thank goodness i practiced anger management, and that i've got patience.

been through many over the months, and i'm really happy to see you being part of my life. be it with me, my family or my friends. from now on, i hope to be able to achieve a deeper understanding between the both of us, that we can not talk or meet everyday and yet still feel the closeness, that we can not say things aloud and yet the unsaid still resonates loudly in our hearts, that there is not a need to say "I Love You" often but still feel it so clearly through each other's actions, that we can support each other in times of need and grow into a future together. so, will you do that with me?

Y My Advanced 21st Birthday Bash
my deepest gratitude to my family, CY, my relatives, my colleagues and of cause, MY DEAR FRIENDS, for making my advanced birthday celebration such a fab one! i'm truly touched and blessed. :D needless to say, the party was a huge success with many surprises planned for me. love you all lah. YY
i don't know how to go about blogging about my party, as it has been a really unforgettable, memorable and awesome party i ever had in my life. i just couldn't take my mind off it. :)
everything began with that huge disappointment of which CY has been assigned to do guard duty during my celebration. it turned out to be part of everybody's surprise plot one. i was really upset on Friday night, but just went along with my party plans. checked into the chalet at 3pm on Saturday afternoon with my family. and for that, i'm really thankful to Han De who offers to book this chalet at a much cheaper rate under his name. :)

we rented bikes, mahjong sets and waited for kengey and co. to arrive at 4ish. I'M SO TOUCHED BY EVERYTHING THEY HAVE DONE FOR ME!! from the decorations (p.s: i really love that balloon and flowers!) to ferrying CY into the chalet to all the surprises. no words can describe how glad i am to have all of you as my friends and how bad i'm feeling now for being such a rather bad friend in the past. i resolve to be a better friend from now onwards ok? i hope it's not too late. :) and i believe by saying 'Kengey and co' is abit unfair, so i'll name them all, but that doesn't mean the rest of my friends aren't important ok? thousand and millions of 'thank you' to kengey, li'e, puay siang, wei li , jie hao and buggy!

at about 5ish, everyone became so secretive about 'fetching buggy' or 'getting things from whitesands', so neth drove outta the chalet.. TO PICK CY UP! :D kengey was asking me to follow her to the main door, and there CY was, hiding. haha! :D and so that's surprise 1. i went to change, while while the rest began their mahjong session. :)
at about 6ish, my guests began coming in. and here comes surprise 2, which buggy was in it too. haha! they were telling me that they're giving me a LANCER 9961 as a gift, but because i've no license yet, so i'm only allowed to see the boot only. i was given the keys, and everyone pulled me to open up neth's car boot, and ta-dah, all the presents and flowers from them are inside and i've to open them one by one. two words - i'm touched. :) thank you NETH for that touching idea. haha!
after that, more of my relatives and friends came, ate, mingled, played mahjong, and etc. there's such a big crowd, that i'm feeling at a lost. i hope i wasn't a bad host. and thank you all for coming and all the well wishes on my guestbook. even some of my old friends and colleagues whom i've invited turned up too. :)
during the cake cutting session, we sure toooooook a long time taking pictures! hahaha. i'll make do with a few pictures later, because i'm still waiting for all the pictures from ALL the cameras. :D btw, i even had one professional photographer - buggy! thank you bugbug!!! :D
after cutting cake, kengey had another surprise for me. i had to light up some cloth which she used to form "Happy Birthday Jo" on a wire gauze. the effects were beautiful, and they even got CY to video it down. can't wait to look at the pictures and video! guys, send them to me alrights! so touched. thank you, keng. =) anyway, i think we shall wait for kengey to update her blog for her FULL description about everything. :)
some of my guests left at 10ish - 11ish, and there's only a small bunch who stayed and played mahjong throughout the whole night. i really really had alot of fun..... this is so unforgettable. :)

i realised i do not have many pictures from my camera, hence i'll upload the rest to my MULTIPLY once i've gotten my hands on them. teehee. :)
and so, this morning we checked out at 10am. on our way back, my dad's car's tyre punctured along TPE! we had to unload the boot, and my dad, bro and CY had to change the tyre along the road shoulder. with everyone totally zonked out, this sure is one tough shit. and my dad had to spend lots of $ on replacing the tyres. darn it. :/ ohwells, haha.
last but not least, thank you to those who turned up last night, and made my birthday celebration a memorable one. kudos to those who really put in the efforts to make me feel so touched. thank you for all the thoughtful gifts, ang paus and well wishes. appreciate it alot alot. this is the best birthday celebration i've ever had. really. :)

Y #@#%$^ Gahmen!
why of all weeks, CY must get selected for guard duty this week? WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYY? he won't be able to book out until Sunday, which means, he won't be going to my 21st birthday celebration! i know, i still have my family and friends to celebrate with me, but ....
i can't imagine me celebrating, enjoying and partying when my dear boy's guarding that damn gate or patrolling round the camp. just that thought itself is so torturous! i can't stand the thought of him not able to see me in that birthday dress he picked for me. i can't stand the thought that he won't be in the picture together with my birthday cake. i can't stand the thought that he can't share that joy in person! i know i still can share everything with him after that, but the feeling will be so different..
darn, please tell me this is a joke. wails*

Y Happy 2008!
first and foremost, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! may 2008 be fruitful and fulfilling for everyone out there. :D :D :D
even though i haven't been doing much progressive stuffs over the weekend, i still can't help feeling like a walking zombie. i have insufficient SLEEP! =( i wasn't exactly HAHA happy, but at least i'm contented. =) let's see what have i been during the last few days of 2007.
Friday, 28/12/07: had a new hair cut, and coloured my hair at the salon nearby. it wasn't exactly a big change of style, but just a little fringe cut. haha! went to my colleague's wedding at Turf City in the evening. really glad to see my favourite neighbour once again! sat with her, and the rest of my colleagues and we had some fun eating and crapping together. i really love attending wedding functions, because the blissful faces of the couple really really warms my heart. and they have been together for 9 years.. awwwww. :)
took my colleague's car to newton before cabbing down to Seng Kang to CY's friend's place for mahjong. or rather, i watched CY and his friends played throughout the night. i only helped CY played a few games. and guess what? i sat it through with them till 6am in the morning. i'm amazed by my own patience. haha!
Saturday, 29/12/07: slept in till late afternoon, before CY and i head out to order my birthday cake. teeheehee. although there are some things here and there which kinda made me NOT looking forward to my birthday anymore, i'll still try my best to be happy and contented. :) after ordering my cake, which looks kinda bimbotic-ly sweet, CY and i took a bus to Changi Airport for Popeye's dinner.
despite being suuuuuuuuuuperrrrrr tired, we hadn't wanted to end our SATURDAY so early. and so, guess what? we got 2 mahjong 'legs' for an overnight session at my place. i got yun and CY got his friend, zheng wen. we started our games at 12am, and ended at 7am. HAHAHA! i swear my eyes were closing during the last few rounds. DAMN TIRED! as expected, i lost money. CY was the sole BIG winner. haha, still good enough. HOOOORAY! :)
Sunday, 30/12/07: didn't do much, except hanging out with CY at his place, watching shows and pigging out, before i head back home.
Monday, 31/12/07, NYE: went to work for half day. company has got buffet lunch, before everybody's off from 1pm onwards. went to meet CY after work, and dong joined us last minute. the 3 of us head to kengey's place for MAHJONG again. LOL. CY and i shared, and we played with kengey, neth and dong. had so much fun laughing with them, and guess what? CY and i were the SOLE winner that day. LOL.
waited for jie hao to come over, before leaving kengey's place for our celebration. dong went to meet his friends, whereas the rest of us went to meet tat loon at Marina Bay. we had steamboat dinner! haha. so nice and fun eating with my friends and CY. i bet kengey had the most fun fighting with those prawns. hahaha!
went City Hall after dinner. despite the terrible crowds, we wanted to catch the fireworks display so badly too. felt so safe with CY's protection. :) we managed to find a rather good spot to watch the display. it's practically right above our heads! i swear it was so breathtakingly beautiful! :) hmm, let's all book a hotel room nearby next year to catch the display instead. free from rubbing and buaing then! haha.
squeezed through the crowds to the main road after that. when i said squeeze, it's really squeezing! luckily we manage to stick together as a group most of the times. haha! walked to Boat Quay, where we manage to take a rest. kengey, jie hao and neth head home, whereas i followed CY to meet his friends at the pubs along Circular road. his friends were pub jumping between 2 pubs, so i just tagged along. CY's friend, ah zhi (yun! the one whom we thought was QUIET during the last meet up!), "forced" me to drink 2 martell on the rock and some with mixers, and thank god i managed to stay sober. or rather, i was quiet throughout, because.. haha, CY knows it best. :)
hanged out till 5ish before CY and i walked to Merchant Court hotel to get a taxi. so difficult to hail a cab man... anyway, i've no pictures for NYE, because we were either too busy eating (steamboat) or too sweaty (rubbing and buaing with the crowds). haha.
thanks for being the best thing that happened to me in 2007. and hope it'll be the same for 2008, 2009, 2010 and so forth. Happy new year, my dear. i love you. :)
