Y Work is such a bitch!

i don't know how much longer i can endure this. i'm trying my best here to keep up with the work load, and please everyone by doing my best all the time. i hate it when some asses who thinks i'm their personal assistant, or thinks it's right that i've to do their things fast and first ! selfish idiots! everything urgent urgent! only you urgent lah. the rest not urgent lah. then when i manage to finish one's work, another will bug me for their works.
HELLO!!!! HOW MANY PAIRS OF HANDS DO YOU THINK I HAVE?! fumes*
i bet they've forgotten i'm actually doing 2-men work now. sigh, i wonder when's the replacement coming in. i'm so sick and tired of this. it's been one week, and i really can't take it. sometimes, i really really dread going to work. so tiring. i try not to think about work after office hours, so being with CY is my only greatest solace now.
boooooooooooo. this really sucks. :(
i hope nothing's gonna dampen my mood over the weekend.
it's my cousin's big day this sunday! i just love attending wedding functions! :)

3 days of absence from the office can cause me so much fatigue. how i wish some people could just keep their sarcastic remarks to themselves. and also, don't just NATO (no actions talk only) with me. don't just say it, DO IT! to make things worse, i'm really turned off by the sight of that little miss. she and her barang is taking up so much space, and everything is making my area such an eyesore. and sometimes, certain tasks are so simple to do, and yet some people are just too lazy to do it and too dependent on Labels: Emo, Whinings/iRant, Work

i get emotionally attached and dependent on someone pretty easily and fast. that is why i'm so affected by my neighbour's resignation. i don't really show, but i really feel it.
same goes to my love. the future is really unpredictable, that is why i'm always saying "love like never before". i just want to fight for my happiness. what's mine, will eventually be mine. i love you. i really do.. let's fight for this together okie? sigh..
i was really motivated last night, but now i'm not really sure if i can cope with this. i'm in need of some strength for me to pull through this one. 18months will soon be over, no?
i need to escape. i need a getaway. :(

during the warehouse sale set-up on thursday, i was feeling so mixed up. tired, 'cause the place was extremely warm! upset, 'cause it's my favourite neighbour's last day of work. SIGH. although i'm not good at expressing myself, but at the thought of days without her beside me at work (plus having to sit beside that lil miss) makes me wanna tear. SIGH. T.T
right, i've been spending alot of time with CY lately. i just love hanging out with him. teehee. i'm not trying to show off or anything, but just bear with me while i blogged about CY okie? :)
this is the first time a guy (my boyfriend, in particular) sent breakfast to me when he knows i was hungry and that i've no time to eat. CY surprised me with some snacks and dessert at Expo on friday when i was busy at work. he just popped by just.like.that, when i thought he was on his way out to meet his friends. i swear i was really surprised and touched when he appeared in front of my cashier with that bag of food. how cute of him to pass me the bag and went off immediately. how cute of him to leave such a sweet note in it too. hahahahaha. so i excused myself awhile to meet him outside after that. thanks dear! :)
attended my school's orientation after work, which i left early, on friday. i didn't stayed throughout the orientation, as i find it pretty boring with all the ice breaker games and speeches. hence, i managed to get out after getting my textbooks and notes, which was helluva heavy load loh! met up with CY after that, and we had dinner together before deciding where to head to next. had wanted to head home first to put my books, but CY had insisted he will carry them for me. damn, the books are really heavy loh! sigh, sorry and thanks. :)
CY and i decided on Holland V aftermath. it's cold rock ice cream (yummy!) and wala wala then. CY's friend joined us at 10ish. and also, i called yun down to join us as well. before the 2 of them arrived, i already had 2 glasses of red wine with CY, and i had one more when we moved to the ground floor. haha! although CY's friend is a little "too cool", but the night had been great nonetheless. :)
damn, i seem to have endless things to blog about. alright, CY and i went Sentosa today. it was a happy day! warm weather, great company, excellent time spent! i finally got to use my ISLANDER CARD today! damn, i've applied it for almost half a year, and have not even used once! haha.
skyride is hot, but great with you around. photo taking like a tourist with you had been fun. "sun-tanning" at siloso beach was super hot with you around. luge ride was fun fun fun, though my helmet was irritating! hahaha. i just love being with you! let's go to more places together in future okie dear?! =D

i've been so busy (and tired) since monday. i feel time's really not enough! i need more time in hand to get some things done. and so, i decided to keep my weekend free from anything else to stay at home and do stuffs which i didn't manage to find time to do.

alright. all work and no play make ME a very very dull girl, so i met up with the F(ANATICS)4 - eadric, ah dong, yun and me, last night for a fantabulous singing session at Woodlands Partyworld. hahaha.
i think yun's crazy. she chose SHIN's songs, and started singing, or screaming? haha. the guys joined her too. i think one day, those singers from SHIN will die of mic choking. well, we had so much fun singing, though i felt sleepy after 10pm - my bio clock's asking me to sleep. haha!
this isn't a full song, but part of the song when yun, dong and ead started screaming SHIN's "Shi Jie Mo Ri". madness.
ahh. i'm so crazy about Fang Da Tong's "Ai Ai Ai" now. that song's so nice. listening to it gives me this sensual feeling. teehee. while the guys were singing, yun and i went crazy camwhoring. ya'll know? though both of us just had a fight not long ago, we got over things so fast. that's the thing with me, i won't get angry for long. yun too. haha! that is why i hate having enemies. i love everybody. hahahaha. :)

Y Warehouse Sales
what a tiring day at the warehouse sale. stood for 12 hours plus cashiering, with short breaks in between. all of us felt the intense back aching at the end of the day man! i'm gonna apply my bestfriend-during-my-banquet-days, Counter Pain Ointment, all over my body later on before i sleep! it's been long since i used to much energy! totally drained.
well, i met some really terrible Singaporeans today! what a disgrace to us. tsk. anyway, cashiering was pretty fun! i applied what i learnt at OCBC today. other than that, i learnt how to operate both the cashiering and ATM machine. so easy and fun! or probably because i'm smart. :x nevertheless, i think it was a great experience working at the Expo with all my collegues.
ah dong and yun (and joe) came by Expo for the food fair in the evening. i know their main objective was to visit me at work LAH HOH? teehee. :x had dinner with them at the food fair. then they went to shop around, while waiting for me to knock off at 10+ before going home together. shag!
there's not a second went by without you on my mind. suddenly, i feel so lost. i know my recent entries are a little contracdicting, but ohwells, what can i do to get over this heartache?
and so, i broke down tonight.

Y I miss you..
today, i saw some NYP students. walking in big groups, holding laptops, talking and laughing. i was walking to the mrt station alone after work, and saw all that. it kinda makes me miss going to school. still remember when i'm was schooling, i'll always find opportunity to ponteng, but darn, i'm missing that so badly right now! i missed w01 so much.. han de has promised to ask me along for porridge steamboat with martin and all, and also night cycling in april! we really ought to meet up soon! i've been held up with my stock take the whole day. Y My new job has...
lots of freedom. lots of space. lots of friendly people. lots of smiley faces. lots of books. lots of laughter. lots of attention. lots of everything! :D
i think i'll really like my job over here. it's my first day as one of them today, and i felt really welcomed by everyone. the HR manager briefed me about every details before i signed the employment letter. and i was brought to my working space at level 2.

on the contrary, i'm still pretty upset about what's going on. i really wondered, what have i done to deserve all these? maybe i should just divert my attention and concentrate more on my job thatn these heartbreaking and senseless stuffs. sigh.

Y loooong weekend's here! :)
yahoooo. my long weekend's finally here! happpppy. :) Labels: Work
today's weather is really chilly. it's been raining since yesterday, and finally it stopped in the evening. work has been pretty much alright today. went to the safe deposit counters to do relief till 3pm, before i'm off for my lunch break. yesterday when i had my lunch at 1pm, i was already uber hungry, and today's lunch is at 3pm! luckily nirmala was really nice to buy some chocholate swiss rolls for me to munch at the pantry. frankly, i kinda liked being at the safe deposit side, as the strength is low, hence i was able to click with almost everyone there within that few hours. especially the cisco, aunty judy as well as my fellow teller, nirmala and sylvie! they're really nice to me. :)
during lunch, i spent my time talking on the phone and sms-ing with my classmates to discuss about tomorrow's prom. oh man, i am so excited! teeeeeheeeee. :) alright, went back to learn things from kat after having my lunch at 4pm. there's again news that i might be doing back-end instead of counter jobs. well, both the back-end and front line has their own challenges. just that back-end = no interaction with customers = no referral commission = more freedom. and not all branches has back-end supports like the centre branch, which is huge. we have 2 back-end supports, michelle and kat. michelle's in-charge of PFC's investments transactions support whereas kat's in-charge of the opening and closure of corporate accounts. i've been pushed to learn things from either michelle or kat inconsistently these days, and i'm getting a lil confused here and there. however, i think everything's still managable loh, since i'm an IT student and everything's basically about computer keying transactions. HAHA, self-console. -_- all the best to me ya?
knocked off at 6pm, and i went to bugis alone to get some things done. bumped into so many familiar faces there. i actually saw this RAIN-fanatic whom i made friend with at the airport the other time while chasing RAIN, some MSL juniors - i can't remember who else were there, but i only saw fiona and hui wen, and also, ben from conrad's oscar. haha, small world. :)
it's the start of a new month and CNY's ending soon. no more reasons for me to splurge on anything anymore. time to sort out my accounts and stuffs already. brand new start. hooo. :)

i'm in an extremely breezy mood today, so go ahead and step on my tail, i swear i won't retaliate. at all. even the rainy day seems sunny to me! without a brolley with me, i walked in the rain with such joy as well. lol! haha, kidding. i sound extremely temperamental aye? yesterday i was SO troubled about some stuffs, and today, a total change in mood. haha! all thanks to the SO! :) had a loooooooong chat on the phone with SO last night, before turning in at 2am. teehee. felt so much at ease after thrashing things out to SO. and SO helped so much in making me feel better. and so i managed to cleared my mind, and know what i'm gonna do next. maybe? we'll see. alright, i won't go in depth about anything, so yay. basically SO helped me alot. teehee. :)

work today was as usual. tagging behind michelle and kat the entire afternoon, as before lunch, i was assigned to the Safebox counters to relief lunch. in other words, relief either sylvie or nirmala during their lunch. hence, i had my lunch only after they're back, at 1pm. was totally famished then. haha, and i spent my lunch break eating and talking on the phone with li'e and froggie. :)
after lunch, i couldn't concentrate at work, as i was busy sms-ing with SO. lol! ohwells, there wasn't much for me to do except to watch, help photocopying and shredding papers anyway. florence was telling me that she don't know what job to assign to me anyway. what the hell man? so that means i'm sticking to michelle for the sake of having-something-for-me-to-do huh? in other words, if i'm not gonna be taking over michelle's job, i'll have to learn another thing all over again? SIGH, this is what a noob get at times. what else can i do except to swallow it down right? let's see how's things goes few weeks/months down the road.
oh yah, i've to start working on saturdays pretty soon. in march, i'll have to work on the 17th, 24th and 31st. thank goodness the working hours on saturdays is 8.30am - 12pm only. =) ohwells, 明天会更好. :)

Y Shiseido Grooming Workshop.
each time i log on to the internet, i will spend hours checking mails, reading forums, checking the BT updates, checking friendster and blog hop. and the final thing i'll do is to update my blog, if not, i'll just go ahead with my shows watching. however, i'm not watching anything for the time being. i'm still waiting for Hana Kimi Eps 14 to be completed, which the torrent was out only today. i'm stucked at Eps 13, and i really can't wait to watch that show! dammit, i miss watching eyecandy wu zun! lol. :x Labels: Work
i was back at the branch in the morning. it was a really short morning, which i merely lazed around beside michelle helping her with stuffs. then i went to check my intranet email, and found out that OCBC staffs are entitled to discounts for the Finding Nemo On Ice tickets! omigod, the more i'm tempted to go for it! lololol. we'll see again, as my march schedule is pretty much packed right now.
left the branch to meet ashley at 11.30am. met up with that woman at the mrt platform before making our way to Somerset for our lunch, while waiting for bee leng and connie. :) went to the Orchard Building for our Shiseido Grooming Workshop at 2pm. i think the workshop pretty fun, except for the theory section, whereby the things taught to us were so Biology. haha! anyhows, during the hands on session, we we taught on the fundamentals of skincare and make-up. it's so fun!!! i learnt so many new things today, which i'm gonna impart to my mom someday. lol. o yea, each of us were given some doorgifts which includes some of the Shiseido products samples and vouchers. although their products pricing are a lil on the high side, i think they're really good! :)
after getting our eyebrows trimmed for free, we were released at 4ish! darn early. ashley, connie, bee leng and i went to Marina South for dinner as planned. the dinner's really fulfilling! we had a great time eating and laughing together. ashley's husband sent us to the mrt station, before we're on our separate ways back home. i think the next time the 4 of us are gonna meet will be next month during ashley's birthday. and i really hope connie will be posted to my branch, because her CSM was telling her that there's possibility that she might be posted there! come on and join me! lol.
sigh, too bad i'm working this coming wednesday. sufian (pope) invited me to his birthday bash together with some of my secondary school classmates, and i couldn't make it because of work!! both pei wen and him texted me to inform me about it today, but i can't make it!! sigh. ohwells.

Y I passed my certification tests! :D
felt really lethargic during work today. i think it's because i've been devoid of sleep lately. gave gambling a miss tonight, as i'm really tired. my folks and brother are over at uncle jackson's right now, and i am too tired to join them, hence i came back home to rest after work. Labels: Work
i was deployed back to my branch from today onwards. reported for my briefing at 8.30am this morning, and everyone seems so cheery. :) went to look for my CSM, agnes, for my certification tests results. surprisingly, i passed all my 5 tests! i got above 75% for all of them! what's even amazing was that i scored 90% for my practical! i swear i didn't expected that results, and was all ready to go back for re-test tomorrow so i'll get to see ashley&co again! ohwells, i must say i'm pretty proud of my results. feel proud when you know, but humble when you don't know. that's what i came to learn about recently. how true. :)
started work, and once again, i'm attached to michelle the whole day. i overheard that i may be on relief for michelle's work which is the backend support. that's quite a piece of good news for me actually. but wells, everything's not confirmed yet. oh yay, our BM (branch manager) went round giving us back-to-work red packets! teehee, what a great start for a day alright. :)
compared to the few days when i was attached to michelle before i had my training, today was sooooooo much better. the things i came across today weren't new to me anymore, because i was taught during the training. therefore, i was able to get the hang of almost everything pretty fast. frankly, i really don't mind doing back-end, or safe deposit/bulk cash counters, though i tend to fret more while handling big bulks of cash. haha! ohwells, things will be more or less confirmed in a few more weeks' time. wish me luck alright? :)
count myself unlucky to meet the same kind of people twice in a year. ultimate suay-ness. :)

anyhows, we learnt cashiering today. ways of identifying genuine notes and etc. other than that, our trainer brought 30K worth cash of various denominations, ranging from $2 - $100. BIG BULK OF CASH right in front of me, and i have to learn to count them using my both hands! all of us took turns counting the cash, which our trainer splited up in different amount.
my hand began to shake when i got my hands to the notes, and even made so many mistakes! i actually said 1K to my trainer, when the amount is 10K! no, i didn't counted wrongly, just said it wrongly! omigod, too nervous you see.
after that mistake, i got constantly arrow-ed by my trainer, who kept throwing lumps after lumps of notes for me to count! imagine how much my hands were shaking... :(
luckily, i had ashley beside helping me out. she had cashiering experience before, so that explains why she's alright with everything. BUT NOT ME!!! :(

Y Hmm
sat for the first 2 theory tests on Savings and Current Accounts today. all of us had thought this was just a mock paper, and results will not be recorded for certification purposes, so we didn't really put in much efforts in studying for it. but we were told just before the paper that this is part of the certification test phase and the requirement for us is to get at least 75%! damn, i hope i will make it through as the paper's rather tricky. guess i'll be at most given one more chance to re-sit for it if i fail this paper. prays*
tomorrow will be the last theory test on time deposits, and i hope i'm well prepared for it. and next week will then be our practical tests. geez, training is coming to an end. gonna be heading back to centre branch for more on-the-job training soon, and i am oh-so dreading that. 'cause i'll miss the friends i made during training. :(
people were telling me that they envied me as i'm posted to centre branch, thus will be able to learn more things and meet more kinds of people than them. however, i felt envious of them because i prefer neighbourhood branch! christina suggested swapping branch with me, which is possible as long as the HR approve of us, but i don't want to be in christina's branch which is at CWP and there's gonna be sunday banking there and i don't want! lol. ohwells, maybe i'll just grow to love the centre branch someday? shrugs*

Y Gotta hold on to my ricebowl!
argh! i'm so stressed up about my work! Labels: Work
things are gettin' tougher nowadays. i've been targeted by my trainer, as she's always arrowing me with questions. at times i'm able to answer correctly, but usually got my reasoning wrong! lame huh? but yeah, it's not easy and i'm beginning to struggle. my brain's totally saturated already.
moreover, my trainer goes on and on really fast and i had to try very hard to catch up. know why? because my seat has been changed to the last row and in front of me were people who are so much taller than me! i even had to strain my eyes to see the flip chart about 30m in front. sigh. fortunately, i had the smartest guy (yes, the only male teller in my training class!), danny, seated beside me to guide me along. apart from him, i had christina from CWP branch, who had past banking experience seated in front of me. haha, they are usually the ones i asked for help during the training.
we were taught about fixed deposit transactions today, and luckily that's pretty straightforward. towards the end of the day, we did the balancing and our trainer had to check each and everyone's balancing results before we are allowed to go. and in the bank, we practice one for all and all for one. in other words, we gotta wait till each and everyone is ready before we're allowed to leave. and today, the last person finished her balancing and got them checked by 7pm, then we left only then! i got home at 8pm, just in time for The dance floor. i was hoping to see Show in it, but i guess it'll be on tomorrow's episode instead.
damn, i think this is worse than studying in school. because this is my ricebowl! =(
anyway, don't mind me ya. i just needa digress a little.

my collegues (the usual ones) and i had been visiting Circular road at boat quay to have our lunch. so that's how boat quay looks like in the afternoon! haha, and i found out EskiBar is just right in front of OCBC Centre building! lol. :)
i was trying out my new phone's camera during our tea break today. teehee! let me introduce you some of my new friends.

i'm the youngest in my training group! haha. the rest are like 20 odd or 30 odd. the ones that i went lunch and home with are mei ling, connie and ashley. and they're like, 22, 28 and 25 respectively. ashley's even married with a kid! i feel so different and YOUNG hanging out with them. :x all of us are from different branches, so we have many things to share. i seriously think neighbourhood branches are so much better than the main centre branch i'm in. i feel like requesting for a change in branch after my training's over. hmm, we'll see again.
we had one and half hour lunch break today. we went to have our lunch at Mac, then went shopping around at Raffles Xchange before going back to the training centre. i felt so sleepy all the time, and had to force myself to stay focus all the time. there's really so many things to learn and remember. i really hope i'll be able to get the hang of it and pass the test 2 weeks later. i might lose my job if i fail the test, twice. :/
right, finished today's lesson at 6.45pm and i went off with my new friends. most of them are either attached or married, and the moment we stepped outta the building, they're all on the phone with their other half. then mei ling began asking why i didn't call mine. WAH, sensitive! haha, i told them i'm unattached and ashley suggested introducing guys to me so i'll get attached and soon we can all go on dates together. -_-" right, thanks but no thanks. haha!
anyhoos. i think class training's so much better than on-the-job training, as i get more attention this way. attention as in, from my senior. for this case, it's from my trainer. my training will go on from today till the 16th, before i've to go back to my branch. sigh, 9am to 6.30pm daily. how shagged can this get? nevertheless, one more day to the weekend! hooray! ;)

Y Class Photoshoot
it has been a rather fruitful day today. when i'm at work this morning, florence guided me with the intranet self-services before i was left in front of the computer doing my eLearning tests. i get sleepy all the time, but i managed to complete 5 of the tests. then at 12.45pm, i went off to meet li'e on the train towards Clementi to head back to school. :)
i feel so good to be walking around in the campus again. haha! went to meet the rest of my classmates while waiting for our turn for the photoshoot at eGarage. i'm glad that most of us turned up, and those who did not turn up had valid reasons. ohwells, this is so much better. i realised when my class wanna be 'on', they will be really 'on'. and whenever they're 'not on', they're really very 'not on'. lol!
anyhoos. the people who turned up today were lye hong, froggie, ain, rahim, martin, jason, jian wen, danny, han de, li'e and myself. neeky and wei liang had medical check-up for their NS, so they couldn't make it. sheena had to work and yi peng was sick, so they didn't make it as well. nonetheless, all of us had fun taking our class photos. and btw, some of us were really surprised that ain and rahim came as well! :D o yea, we've invited our mentor, nana, to join in our photoshoot as well. and he's so damn funny!
all of us were damn stiff for the formal shot! hahaha. but the informal shot was soooo much better. we had 3 tries for both. the first try; we had the guys and nana seated on the sofa, whereas the girls stood behind doing a 'twist' sign above nana's head. second try; something similar as the first, i think. third try, which was the one we selected; the guys and nana stood behind whereas the girls sat on the sofa. or rather, all the girls sat except me. li'e suggested and forced me to lie on their laps and pose. other than my weird pose, jian wen was fondling han de's BOOBS (if he has them) during the shot. hahahahahahaha! we chose that picture for printing in the end. i can't wait to see how the picture's gonna turn out to be. LOL!
heh. since all of us gathered today, we tried to persuade more people to attend the prom. we suceeded, and managed to get jian wen and han de to join, and now our table is full!!! hooooray. :D hahaha. we girls were even discussing the prepping for prom, and had decided to go do some homework regarding the makeup and hairstyling pricing. haha! we'll start prepping after CNY, i guess. :)
o yea, lye hong was really sweet today. she passed me one stack of magazine cut-out! there's articles/pictures/posters of Fahrenheit, Mike he, Rain, Hyun Bin, etc. hahaha, she's so sweet lah! :)
after some catching up, i head back home straight. receive my cheque book today, and i'm so gonna apply an ATM card some day. took a short nap aftermath. went to Chong Pang with my family and angelia after dinner, as my brother is upgrading his mobile plan. teehee! 5 days later will be my turn, as my mom's plan can be upgraded already and she's letting me to choose my phone first. my own plan can only be upgraded in March, then my mom will choose her phone at that time.
i'm considering between SE K618i and SE K800i. or Nokia 7373, but that only has a pretty outlook, and the function kinda sucks. ohwells, will see how again. gonna say goodbye to my bimbotic phone soon. haha! :)
