Y I'm employed! :)
good news! i am employed! yes, the interview was a huge success. this is gonna be my first ever full-time job, and the most exciting part about it is that, i'm starting work tomorrow! "thats fast", people say. yes, i thought so too! but heck, as long as i got a job! :) Labels: Annoncement
this morning i took the train together with my brother (he's on the way to work), and i alighted at Raffles Place. the morning people at Raffles makes me feel really tiny and intimidated. haha, they're all dressed in their business wear rushing to work. haha! anyhows, i tried locating the building that i wanna head to, and i realised it's only a less than 5 minutes walk there. i was early, so i sat outside BK to people-watch before heading up to the HR department at the 40th floor.
whoa, i wasn't the only one there for an interview, and there's many others candidates waiting to be interviewed. i submited all my documents for verification, and was directed to a room to watch a video on the introduction of being a bank teller. later on, i sat outside and waited till about 10am before Ms Jane directed me to a private room for the interview.
i was feel darn nervous! i applied everything i learnt about formal interviews in school to today's interview. i tried to speak as confidently as possible. initially, she told me the challenges i'm gonna face and i kinda got scared. after the interview, i was asked to wait outside again.
after about 15 minutes later, Ms Jane came back and told me the good news - that i'm employed! i was taken aback, because i had thought i'm not gonna get the job anyhow. whoa, that's fast. everything's happening so fast. before signing the 'Job Offered' agreement, i told her frankly what are my fears then she assured me that there'll be on-the-job trainings and courses for me before i'm able to be a real bank teller. haha! i signed the agreement after the assurance.
will be starting work tomorrow onwards. at 9am, and at the central branch which is at Raffles. o yea, i'm working for overseas-chinese banking corporation limited (OCBC). haha! :) i'm gonna be part of the Raffles morning people tomorrow onwards! lol.
i'm so excited, and scared at the same time. but i really hope things will be different for me after my 3months probation. :)
and from today onwards, i gotta adjust my life back to normal and no more staying up till the wee hours anymore. because i believe i will need alot of energy and concentration for my job, as it involves money. gasps* i hope my hand would shake too much when i'm counting money. :)
and looks like my Taiwan getaway trip gotta be on hold already. LOL.
oh no, i really feel everything's moving too fast.. how?

minimum for bouquet is 3 roses.
an additional SGD$5.00 will be charged for wrapping.

yay yay! prayers answered! i'm allowed to go genting with twinny and our boyfriends. i'm truly overjoyed. call me a mountain terter or whatsoever, but HEY, it's my first time getting outta singapore for more than a day without my parents AND with my friends! the other time i went was with my relatives, and once more to JB was with my friends, but it was just a one day trip. because of the constant laggin' of dland, i've decided to change my host to blogger. initially, i was comtemplating between using either blogger or xanga. in the end, i chose blogger because i'm more familiar with this than that. haha. i'll miss dland tho', because all my 3 years plus posts are still there. hmm.. anyhows, from the view of my laptop, the alignment of my template is perfect. i'm not sure if it's the same for you people. do tag and let me know if what you see is all messed up aiight. looks at fizzy pooper's directions* haha.
