Y My Advanced 21st Birthday Bash

my deepest gratitude to my family, CY, my relatives, my colleagues and of cause, MY DEAR FRIENDS, for making my advanced birthday celebration such a fab one! i'm truly touched and blessed. :D needless to say, the party was a huge success with many surprises planned for me. love you all lah. YY

i don't know how to go about blogging about my party, as it has been a really unforgettable, memorable and awesome party i ever had in my life. i just couldn't take my mind off it. :)

everything began with that huge disappointment of which CY has been assigned to do guard duty during my celebration. it turned out to be part of everybody's surprise plot one. i was really upset on Friday night, but just went along with my party plans. checked into the chalet at 3pm on Saturday afternoon with my family. and for that, i'm really thankful to Han De who offers to book this chalet at a much cheaper rate under his name. :)

we rented bikes, mahjong sets and waited for kengey and co. to arrive at 4ish. I'M SO TOUCHED BY EVERYTHING THEY HAVE DONE FOR ME!! from the decorations (p.s: i really love that balloon and flowers!) to ferrying CY into the chalet to all the surprises. no words can describe how glad i am to have all of you as my friends and how bad i'm feeling now for being such a rather bad friend in the past. i resolve to be a better friend from now onwards ok? i hope it's not too late. :) and i believe by saying 'Kengey and co' is abit unfair, so i'll name them all, but that doesn't mean the rest of my friends aren't important ok? thousand and millions of 'thank you' to kengey, li'e, puay siang, wei li , jie hao and buggy!

at about 5ish, everyone became so secretive about 'fetching buggy' or 'getting things from whitesands', so neth drove outta the chalet.. TO PICK CY UP! :D kengey was asking me to follow her to the main door, and there CY was, hiding. haha! :D and so that's surprise 1. i went to change, while while the rest began their mahjong session. :)

at about 6ish, my guests began coming in. and here comes surprise 2, which buggy was in it too. haha! they were telling me that they're giving me a LANCER 9961 as a gift, but because i've no license yet, so i'm only allowed to see the boot only. i was given the keys, and everyone pulled me to open up neth's car boot, and ta-dah, all the presents and flowers from them are inside and i've to open them one by one. two words - i'm touched. :) thank you NETH for that touching idea. haha!

after that, more of my relatives and friends came, ate, mingled, played mahjong, and etc. there's such a big crowd, that i'm feeling at a lost. i hope i wasn't a bad host. and thank you all for coming and all the well wishes on my guestbook. even some of my old friends and colleagues whom i've invited turned up too. :)

during the cake cutting session, we sure toooooook a long time taking pictures! hahaha. i'll make do with a few pictures later, because i'm still waiting for all the pictures from ALL the cameras. :D btw, i even had one professional photographer - buggy! thank you bugbug!!! :D

after cutting cake, kengey had another surprise for me. i had to light up some cloth which she used to form "Happy Birthday Jo" on a wire gauze. the effects were beautiful, and they even got CY to video it down. can't wait to look at the pictures and video! guys, send them to me alrights! so touched. thank you, keng. =) anyway, i think we shall wait for kengey to update her blog for her FULL description about everything. :)

some of my guests left at 10ish - 11ish, and there's only a small bunch who stayed and played mahjong throughout the whole night. i really really had alot of fun..... this is so unforgettable. :)

the 'ang pau' toilet roll and jigsaw puzzle of my big face from kengey. haha. 21 ang paus, with meaningful messages and little gifts in it. so unique. :)

i realised i do not have many pictures from my camera, hence i'll upload the rest to my MULTIPLY once i've gotten my hands on them. teehee. :)

and so, this morning we checked out at 10am. on our way back, my dad's car's tyre punctured along TPE! we had to unload the boot, and my dad, bro and CY had to change the tyre along the road shoulder. with everyone totally zonked out, this sure is one tough shit. and my dad had to spend lots of $ on replacing the tyres. darn it. :/ ohwells, haha.

last but not least, thank you to those who turned up last night, and made my birthday celebration a memorable one. kudos to those who really put in the efforts to make me feel so touched. thank you for all the thoughtful gifts, ang paus and well wishes. appreciate it alot alot. this is the best birthday celebration i've ever had. really. :)
