Y Obscurities.
there are so many decisions to make many points of time in your life. whether or not you know what you want your life to be, looking to the future can be overwhelming. work, school or both take up so much time and energy that it seems like there’s little left over for fun and relaxation. the future may not look as exciting as it once did, and it may even look a little overwhelming at times. the freedom that comes with adulthood also comes with a lot of responsibility. and i mean, alot. there are even more demands on your time, and people treat you like a child in some ways, but expect you to act like an adult in others. all you can do is your best. follow your heart and use your common sense. most of all, believe in yourself and in your dreams. you will likely have to make some sacrifices and work hard for a while, but dreams are worth the effort. the choices you make and the way you live you life now will determine what your future will be. every day is precious, each moment unique. learn to enjoy and appreciate the beauty and the people around you. make time to enjoy yourself, but work hard, too. you’ll find that the present and the future can be all you could ever hope for. :) Labels: Inner Intentions, random

just some updates. i'm giving up my TP re-test for a course my company's sending me to. i've no confidence in passing my TP anyway, as i've not went for a single practice since 1st Oct. instead of wasting $120 on insurance, i'd rather waste the $25 (or so) of the registration i paid earlier. i've decided to source for a new instructor whose base is at YCK instead of UBI and re-book a TP test date. probably gonna try dong's instructor. :) this is a decision i made after consulting my folks. i hope i'm doing the right thing.
i'm totally drained right now. 1 week odd to go. or rather, 17months to go. i'll press on, no matter what. :)
anyone up for some baking lessons? :x

yes, CY is back from Tekong last night! and i had a great time talking and sms-ing with him last night. i just love the way he made me felt ever so easy to speak my mind. :) we've made it through these sickening 9days, and indeed, absence makes my heart grow fonder. i think i like CY more now. wahahaha. :p
okay, back to serious business. i am still troubled. i don't know man. what should i do? damn. today seems like a happening day. someone close to me inadvertently said something which got me so affected that i've totally no mood to do work. sigh, it's okay girl. i won't take it to heart anymore. remember, it takes two hands to clap, so guess i was a little at fault too.
hey, remember the ferrero rocher ad song? LOL. all thanks to my neighbour at work, i've that song stuck in my head now. i don't know why, but this song gives me a very christmassy feel. wahaha!

Facebook is really interesting! i had an account when it just launched, but hadn't bother about it till today. although it's pretty fun finding old friends through it, i was rather upset by something which i stumbled upon. Labels: random

i've decided to give Luo Zhi Xiang's concert a miss. it's not because i can't afford the tickets. i can slap you with my money and jolly well buy the $168 tickets, but know what? i'll rather spend these money on more driving lessons, or more investments, or treat my folks to International Buffets at Melt (which i'm dying to try), or, as quoted by this guy, use the money and buy a better present for him. haha! okay, i do enjoy listening to LZX's songs and watching his dance clips, which i think i can buy/you-know-what his concert DVDs (i know the feeling is different, but RAIN's concert the other time was enough for me to 'feel' it), but definitely not to the extent that i wanna go upclose and personal with him or to kiss and hug him. moreover, 1st Dec is a Saturday which i think i might have lessons. so yay, i think kim and i has made a wise choise. teehee. :)
Time to kick off your shoes, take a break, crank the tunes, dance and shake! Light the candles, cut the cake! Make it a day thats simply great! Happy 25th Birthday, Mr Policeman... :)

Y 孤单是一个人的狂欢, 狂欢是一群人的孤单
it has been a great catching up dinner with an ex-colleague, Zaeid, and of cause my crazy woman, li'e. we had 925 Chicken rice after work, and did loads of catching up. well, Zaeid is still pretty much the same - still very naggy. he's always preaching about the virtues of supporting ORIGINAL. what to do? he's a policeman now. hahahahahaha. it was great meeting up and catching up with him nonetheless. :) and not forgetting my larling too! she's getting oh-so tanned, or should i say black? oops. LOL! you should really take a look at the difference of our skin colour now! i'm always complaining that i'm tanned, but man, i feel terribly fair standing next to her! lmao. :x
i feel good being able to share my inner thoughts with that few close friends. for that, i feel blessed. thank you larling, and tiffy (will reply to your email soon). :)
okay, so i'm filled with lethargy and the only thing i've managed to complete so far is increasing the depletion rate of my already attenuating bank account, to which i've been highly subjected to doing too much these days.
i believe it's every woman's natural inclination to slide that dangerous piece of plastic over the counter, gleeing with happiness at the thought of yet another purchase while signing on what was yet another receipt of permission to yet diminish the shrinking bank account. i, on the other hand, prefer the instant clicking of a button that automatically transfers the moolahs to the designated merchant's account. after which i realised with some horror that i'm left with a measly sum for rest of the month. gasps*
joanne, you GOT TO stop shopping online.
but there's one comforting point for me is that, there's someone who shops more crazily than ME. so phews* :D
BTW. here's the 26" Gymnastic Ball i was talking about the other day. i swear it's damn tiring to get it pumped up. -_-

- all thanks to tiffy's email yesterday, which took away my monday blues. she's having her vacation, and is back at JB now! i so wanna travel to JB one of these days to hang out with her.
- i'm feeling super nua these days.
- been reading alot these days. novels. comics. magazines. forums. etc.
- been indulging in Gold 90.5fm every night before i tuck in. nice okay! :)
- daily phone calls with that woman without fail. you might wonder what we talked about everyday huh? well, craps and more craps. for instance, what's the colour of your shit today? HAHAHAHA!
- i am still pissed at some peoples because they still talked like they're the gurus. psst.
- just got hold of transformers ost, wang li hong's and zhang zhen yue's new albums (tsk), so i'm gonna listen to them later on. anybody has MI LU BING's album SIC ok? :D
- granny opted out from operation. :( i hope she'll get that healthy glow back on her face, fast. :(
- wei liang (MSL) asked to play mahjong, but he's only free on weekdays, which i don't think i wanna play mahjong on a weekday. next time, on a weekend, perhaps. :)
- wanted to meet fizzy pooper and cache last night for some catching up, but i feel so nua so decided to meet up some other days. sorry poop!

Y Weak bowel
boo. i've weak bowel today, due to food poisoning. was on medical leave, hence i called up my CSM, agnes, to inform her about it. sigh, i missed the chance to learn more things at the branch since we're suppose to go back today. ohwells, who knows ya? :/ Labels: random
went to the clinic at khatib central to see the doctor. came home to rest the whole day, and i hadn't had any appetite at all. i was practically rotting away in front of my computer. haha!
i've actually deleted 100 over testimonials on my friendster, as well as some friends. i realised i actually received quite a number of twits and fanciful testimonials, which i've already deleted them all away. as for those i'm no longer in touch with, i've also deleted them from my friendster. ohwells.
right, i need to study a little for my certification test tomorrow morning. wish me luck alright? :)

Y hectic saturday
it has been a tiring and hectic Saturday for me. Labels: random
got up as early as 9am, and went to yishun central with my mom and brother.
had breakfast together, and i bumped into Meritus's pick-up boy (note to li'e: the shen jing bin's friend :x) at the coffeeshop.
went to run some errands at the banks and post office.
mailed out tiffy's parcel, applied my iBanking and ATM card at OCBC.
went to shop for my dad's and brother's clothes.
home sweet home after lunch.
but, that's not all.
went home to help my mom with LOADS of cleaning up of the house.
cleaned all the windows with my brother. my arms were aching terribly aftermath.
dyed my hair bright red today too! really love the end results. teehee. new RED hair. :)
settled my DBS and OCBC iBanking stuffs online. finally, i can have all my transactions done via the internet now! my DBS iBanking wasn't workin' previously, but today i went to settle them at the bank. ;D
continued cleaning up the house, and clearing stuffs to welcome the new year.
and FINALLY! i was able to take a short nap at 4ish before uncle henderson came over to help us fix our water tap which was leaking. had dinner together before he left. continued to help my mom checked all her important documents to throw those unwanted ones, before i am FINALLY (again) sit in front of my laptop now.
phew*
right, this is so random. i'm too tired to elaborate.

Y Debut Yoga Lesson
just got back from my debut yoga lesson with kengey and our mothers. clad in our comfortable outfits, we gathered inside the dance studio where the lesson was held. since this is the first lesson, we were taught some basics stretching and breathing exercises. haha! i think i am not flexible enough. needa train up already. and finally, we finished off with the corpse posture whereby i almost dozed off. overall i think yoga is really good and useful. =) some people pissed me off in LSX. as he just won't shut his gap up. *** Labels: Daily Drivel, random

Y ahchoooo*
i had a bad start of the day this morning, due to some reasons. dont ask me why, but i'm really upset. to add it on, the flu bug still hasn't left me. baaa! Labels: Family/Friends, random, school, Work
today all of us didn't step into eGarage at all. the moment i got to school, i went to level 1 to look for han de, as i've loads of bugs in my program for him to help me check. i think he's so much better than my supervisor. that is why you don't see me asking my supervisor whenever i came across an error in my work. haha! i listed out all the errors i encountered in a notepad file, and i showed them to han de. he guided me while i solve them one by one, there and then. other than helping me solve the errors, i was able to know the cause and cure for it as well. =)
continued with my work till 1pm. li'e went to the MeL centre the whole morning to fix her laptop (yeah, her laptop crashed at this crucial period - 1week+ before submission!), and lye hong came late at 10ish. she even made us some sandwiches for breakfast!! that's really so sweet of her wokay. teehee.
anyhows, i am almost done with my program. i'm left with the very last function, and i'm done. i believe by tomorrow i'll start arranging my alignments and interface. i foresee i can only manage a passing grade and not some WOW grades for my FYP, because what i did was just some really basic and typical functions to the teachers. but hey, they are complicated to me wokay. but yay, ain't gonna risk myself to try completing the staff login part, which i've not much confidence in.

waited for yun for her lessons to end at 1pm, before taking 77 to Ritz Carlton together. met xiao ming, and yun brought the 2 of us for the interview. for my case, it's a RE-interview. haha! i hope i don't have to go through the training again, and i can start doing my booking soon. to work there, i took a pretty long time to make this decision. because, by working there, i have to risk seeing some people i don't wish to see. but wells, see no evil ya? =)
it was so nice to see xiao ming again. heard some news about nancy, which i'm pretty shocked to hear. sigh, i miss this woman lah. although she is wilson's god sister, but they are 2 really different people and nancy's a much nicer person. haha! gonna ask her out someday soon.
riight, xiao ming went back to school after the interview, whereas yun and i went for lunch at marina square together. on the way, we saw elvin ng!!! that male artist who was voted to be the most good looking actor in mediacorps, remember?! when i saw him, i was totally memerized by his charming looks! lol. after he walked past me, i turned to yun and she had the exact same reaction as me - dropping jaws! LOL. omggggg!!! :x
haha. yun and i had our late lunch at Han's. we did lots of catching up there, talking about everything ranging from boys to school to projects to work to future. it's nice to see some changes in both of us. haha! and after lunch, she went to work whereas i went to get some stuffs before taking the train home.

recently i've just finished watching Tokyo Juliet. really love that show! some say the plot is draggy, but i dont feel that way leh. it's an interesting show. kudos!! xD
