Y OCH Expedition Part II
2 days of weekend just pass me by this way. just got back from my driving lesson, and i'm gonna do some stuffs after this. o yay, INITIAL D is airing on channel U tonight! i've watched that umpteen times and yet i'm never sick of it. edison chen! jay chou! shaun yue! loads of eyecandies, and cool drifting. hahaha. well, this has got to be the most 'exciting' weekend i had for the past 1 month. guess what? i joined the guys to more touring last night. han de forked out another 80 bucks to extend the car rental to one more day, and thus, we went out last night.
jason, martin, han de and han de's friend, marcus (of all names -_-), came and pick me up at 7.30pm and we went to Lavender for dinner. for the whole night, i sat in the front passenger seat, and was talking about all the cars stuffs with martin. i don't know why, i just seem to be so interested with all the automobile stuffs lately.
jason left to meet his friends after dinner, whereas the rest of us drove to Changi Village to OCH again. this time round, we tried to drive up the hill, hence we don't have to enter OCH via that steep and uneven stairway. however, the route up the hill was pitch dark, and martin had to use high beam headlights. we parked the car near the balcony, with the headlights switched on, so that we won't lose our way or something.
frankly, last night wasn't as scary as friday night. probably because jason wasn't there to tell us stuffs to 'add on' the effects. haha! we ventured into OCH, exploring each and every corner. we didn't manage to find the mortuary though. in fact, after reading articles from the net, i realised there's many parts of the OCH which we didn't came across with. and oh, although the hospital has been abandoned for years, there's still a very strong medicine smell in it.
i wasn't scared by the place, but by the darkness of the place. each time han de and marcus walked ahead, i constantly turned to make sure martin's still there with me. oh btw, we had 2 torchlights and one of which is held by me. han de actually wanted to take some pictures, which he got me to bring my digital camera. and my digital camera's battery died on us when we were about to snap the first picture. haha! in the end, we made use of martin's K800i to snap away. we were like some documentary channel reporters lah. lol.
this graffiti is so funny! the moment martin saw this, he exclaimed 'my former school's principal!'. haha! some people must have hated this principal so much, that they vandalised the wall with 'OW KOK BENG (insert-pig-head) PRSS. OWE $ PAY $'. LOL.
fret not! nobody else is taking this for us. martin set timer for it. lol.

we found this broken chair in the middle of this room, which we reckon it's an operation theatre.
luckily martin kept reminding me to shine the torchlights to the ground instead of the front, if not i'd probably fall right into this big hole. phew*

let's look at the exterior of the OCH block. btw, OCH is very huge with many blocks, and we only went to one of the blocks. some other blocks has got CCTV camera, which we didn't dare to risk getting caught for trespassing.
this was how dark that place was. the light beam is actually from our car's headlights.
that's all for OCH visuals. spooky huh? when i got home, i did some researching, and look at these articles which i've found.

after reading that, i realised there's many other areas which we didn't came across. like the mortuary and torture chamber. i showed han de the sites, and he's keen to go for a 3rd trip next month! haha, that guy's insane! hahaha.
anyhow, here's some tips to share if you're interested in paying a visit to OCH.
- go in groups of even number. but, make it 4 or more.
- bring torchlights.
- never shine your torchlights into any mirror you see.
- never do any disrespectful acts when you're inside OCH, i.e: playing catching inside with your friends.
- don't run if you happen to 'see' anything. be normal.
- don't agitate any of the dogs, if you happen to see one.
- watch your step, 'cause you never know what you'll step onto OR into.
- wear something comfortable. i wore shorts on friday, and i felt really chilly. so last night i became smarter and wore jeans instead.
- don't try, if you're unsure.
there's lots of precautions lah. just, be careful. :)

alright, after our OCH expedition, we drove on to the Changi Beach Park, hoping to see more transvestites. we saw lots of family camping there instead, so no transvestites spotted at all. we went strolling at the beach, watching airplanes flying above our heads. darn cool! went back to our car and continued driving. went to martin's place at Tampines to take his cable, as we want the pictures we took at OCH. haha! so while waiting for him, i took pictures of our 'love' for these 2 nights.
whee.
they sent me home aftermath, and i got home at 1ish.
although the trip seems spooky and all, but the company was great. we had said to go for more touring in future. probably next month. this time round, we'll split the cost of the car rental. haha! ah, back in those days, all we talked about was night CYCLING, and now, times has changed. we're talking about night DRIVE. hahaha. :)
too bad. too bad. LARLING AH, i think only you understand what i meant. haha! TOO BAD. :x

Y Vainpot.
alot of stuffs has been going through my mind these days. somehow, i cant wait to graduate, so i can officially kiss goodbye to my FYP (though i dread parting with my friends). ive been thinking about my future alot lately. im getting on to the next phase of my life in months time, and what am i going to do? i have many other things on my mind as well. but.. sigh. riight. today li'e and i went to Asian Civilisation Museum for the president events rehearsal. i feel so "class" stepping into the Museum. haha! we were brought to this gallery, and all of us were Female! we were briefed one by one, and shucks! li'e and i were told we can't wear 2-piece wear. must wear a black dress! 24bucks gone. ohwells, at least i still can wear my black formal top for other occasion.
anyhows, we watched their rehearsal while waiting for further instructions. everything about this place is so arty. im pretty excited to be involved in this thursday's event, 'cause president nathan will be present! its a black-tie event. woots! xD
but wells. since we need black dress, li'e and i gotta find one before tomorrow, so that they can hire us. i was so disappointed initially, until i tried asking kengey if she has any black dresses to loan. took a train to her place to look at her dresses. in the end, i borrowed one of her mom's. teehee! i kinda liked the simplicity of that black dress her mom lent me. so, i'll tell the in-charge ive found one tomorrow, provided li'e found one too. because i wont go alone for sure. =)
im supposed to go home after borrowing the dress, but i was tempted to get my hands on the tiles again. thus, we contacted neth and lichung for a mahjong session. we began at 6ish, played 1 and 3quarter rounds before winding up at 10ish. teehee, ever since ive been a loser for most of the times, today im finally the sole winner. won 17bucks, thereabout. =)

Y life is short.
before i went on to blog about my TODAY, here are some long-ago pictures taken using buggy's dcam during ahdong's 21st birthday bash. i just got them last night.

riight, i'm feeling better today, which means i'm recovering soon. yay. o.Ov just so that i'm still coughing pretty badly. woke up at 11am today and slacked around. was happily chatting with jae about some shits that i almost forgot the time. went to take a shower and prepared to meet li'e for school. after soaking my mystic grey contact lens for so long, i finally took them out to wear today. teehee. hmm, the weather's slightly better today, with only slight occational drizzle now and then. teehee. i reached the bus stop at 2pm, and li'e accompanied me to get some sandwiches to eat before going for UD practicals. were doing some practical sheets, then we were released early. oh, next week we gonna start on our UD assignment already. perhaps we'll start asap. there's SA assignment to touch as well. GIRLS, are you ready to take on this challenge? riightt.... rolls eyes*
went to grab a bite at canteen 3, before going for ISDT at 4pm. had a short lecture, then we did tutorials. oh ya, had a mini discussion with our class about our surprise plan next week. i'm glad that everyone's on for that. TSKTSK!! we're such sweeeeeeeeeeet friends aiight. teehee. and so we were dismissed at 5ish. twinny went home, whereas li'e and i walked to the bus stop at KAP to take 171 to town. on our way there, i actually got li'e to jay-walked with me IN FRONT of a police car. LOL! come on, i didn't see the police car okay. we saw the policeman uncle were looking at our direction, but they didn't do anything and drove past us. phew* haha! so we hit town at 6ish. grins*
on the bus, we were chatting about stuffs. i was telling li'e that time is zooming past us at such a fast speed that at times we aren't aware how old we are actually turning. today's 23rd november, which means 4 more days and it will be the day i've known jae for 2 years. and it's his and michelle's one year anniversary soon. and soon, it's gonna be christmas. and soon, it's my 19th birthday!!! HINT HINT okay. hahaha. nah, kidding. i'm getting old, but not as old as somebody who's hitting 20ish. WAHAHA. :x oops. alright, then we went on talking about many other things. i was telling her that the day i stop using the handphone pouch, and the day i deleted those pictures and messages in my phone, will be the day i've given up on him and us, which is pretty unlikely to come so soon. sighs*
so yay. we talked throughout the journey. haha, and i find it weird to hit town with such loads with us. yay, we had our laptops with us today. :/
we alighted at far east plaza, as we wanna look for new black shoes for work, because the ones we had has pretty much worn out already. we've been doing lots of almost-slipped-and-fell-on-our-bums stunts during work already. OH btw, our purpose of hitting the town today wasn't to SHOP, but to buy stuffs that we NEED. we made ourselves NOT to splurge on unnecessary stuffs, as we need to save for our I&E activity capital. zzz. in the end, we didn't manage to find a nice pair of black shoes for work. ugly. 
this is an evidence to show that li'e is bullying me. she made me carry her laptop and her shopping bag, then she's happily brushing her hair there! hrmp! :X

head on to CK tangs next, as i need to replenish my eyeshadow. decided to try out the MAC fluidline eye-liner gel this time round. 
sucha small bottle costs me 27buckeroos aiight. the separate brush was sold at 36buckeroos. CRAZY. i didn't buy the brush of cause.
when we were outta CK tangs, it was dark outside already. the christmas lightings were very pretty. awww, we were so mesmerized by them lah. "all i want for christmas is YOU..." sings* teehee. 
hmmm. pretty hoh? but too bad it's a lil blur. should have brought along my dcam..

went to cineleisure for our dinner at LJS aftermath. before that, i followed li'e to see her ex-manager in Subway, pauline. she's gonna be the one who will arrange the Yoga free trial class for us. teehee, the packages she told us about seems a lil expensive leh. hmmm, will consider that only after our trial class. :x anyways, we had our dinner at LJS and despite my cough, i ate chicken and drank cold drinks still. haha! :x oh, for the whole night, i was telling li'e how much i wanna hit the KTV. kbox and party world were all so near yet so far. haha, singing is my new passion now. blame it on my nnp! haha. for now, i wanna master elva hsiao "zui shou xi de mo sheng ren" which i've been singing the chorus so much today that li'e is getting sick of my singing. right? lol.
at about 8ish, we went over to Heeren, as i wanna buy a new jacket. there's this chocolate fondue outside heeren, so we went to try it out. while trying, we heard a loud "BANG!" behind us. there was an accident involving 2 bikes. scary okay. both bikes had 2 people - rider and passenger. 3 of them only had slight injuries i think, as they were able to stand and move, whereas there's one who laid on the road not moving at all. people were running over to help him and stuffs. that guy's not moving!!! it's so scary to witness such things. and i reckoned that guy's a malaysian, as his bike is a malaysia bike. some passerby called for ambulance, and stuffs. we watched awhile, then went off le. just hope that guy will be alright and won't have any serious injuries.. sigh.
okay, there's something i'm so pissed about! when li'e and i were walking towards the 5th floor toilet, i stepped onto this lumps of white whipped cream on the ground! it dirtied my toes and pretty sandals! boohoo. while washing my feet and sandals, i was cursing under my breath about how inconsiderate people are for not cleaning up the mess after their birthday sabotage, which highly chance was the cause of the whipped cream, no? then.... okay. after we were outta the ladies, i bumped into puay siang and his classmates who were there celebrating one of their classmates' birthday. after parting from them, li'e was wondering if the whipped cream is from them. then i sms-ed puay siang to ask about it, then he told me it was! WHAT THE SHIT? so it's them who were so inconsiderate. hahahaha. funny lah. what i kenna-ed turned out to be done by people i know. lol, lame.
alright, so we were looking at jackets in 77th street. i tried 2, and bought one that cost me 35buckeroos. it's so niceeeeeeeeeeeeee. green in colour, with "REBEL" written in the center in yellow font. pretty pretty! :x

right, when it's close to 10pm, we left heeren and went to get my hair cream at guardian's before taking the train home. it's been a long day, and i'm tired already. gotta wrap up my day and hit the sack soon. nights all..
