Y Happy 2008!

first and foremost, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! may 2008 be fruitful and fulfilling for everyone out there. :D :D :D

even though i haven't been doing much progressive stuffs over the weekend, i still can't help feeling like a walking zombie. i have insufficient SLEEP! =( i wasn't exactly HAHA happy, but at least i'm contented. =) let's see what have i been during the last few days of 2007.

Friday, 28/12/07: had a new hair cut, and coloured my hair at the salon nearby. it wasn't exactly a big change of style, but just a little fringe cut. haha! went to my colleague's wedding at Turf City in the evening. really glad to see my favourite neighbour once again! sat with her, and the rest of my colleagues and we had some fun eating and crapping together. i really love attending wedding functions, because the blissful faces of the couple really really warms my heart. and they have been together for 9 years.. awwwww. :)

took my colleague's car to newton before cabbing down to Seng Kang to CY's friend's place for mahjong. or rather, i watched CY and his friends played throughout the night. i only helped CY played a few games. and guess what? i sat it through with them till 6am in the morning. i'm amazed by my own patience. haha!

Saturday, 29/12/07: slept in till late afternoon, before CY and i head out to order my birthday cake. teeheehee. although there are some things here and there which kinda made me NOT looking forward to my birthday anymore, i'll still try my best to be happy and contented. :) after ordering my cake, which looks kinda bimbotic-ly sweet, CY and i took a bus to Changi Airport for Popeye's dinner.

despite being suuuuuuuuuuperrrrrr tired, we hadn't wanted to end our SATURDAY so early. and so, guess what? we got 2 mahjong 'legs' for an overnight session at my place. i got yun and CY got his friend, zheng wen. we started our games at 12am, and ended at 7am. HAHAHA! i swear my eyes were closing during the last few rounds. DAMN TIRED! as expected, i lost money. CY was the sole BIG winner. haha, still good enough. HOOOORAY! :)

Sunday, 30/12/07: didn't do much, except hanging out with CY at his place, watching shows and pigging out, before i head back home.

Monday, 31/12/07, NYE: went to work for half day. company has got buffet lunch, before everybody's off from 1pm onwards. went to meet CY after work, and dong joined us last minute. the 3 of us head to kengey's place for MAHJONG again. LOL. CY and i shared, and we played with kengey, neth and dong. had so much fun laughing with them, and guess what? CY and i were the SOLE winner that day. LOL.

waited for jie hao to come over, before leaving kengey's place for our celebration. dong went to meet his friends, whereas the rest of us went to meet tat loon at Marina Bay. we had steamboat dinner! haha. so nice and fun eating with my friends and CY. i bet kengey had the most fun fighting with those prawns. hahaha!

went City Hall after dinner. despite the terrible crowds, we wanted to catch the fireworks display so badly too. felt so safe with CY's protection. :) we managed to find a rather good spot to watch the display. it's practically right above our heads! i swear it was so breathtakingly beautiful! :) hmm, let's all book a hotel room nearby next year to catch the display instead. free from rubbing and buaing then! haha.

squeezed through the crowds to the main road after that. when i said squeeze, it's really squeezing! luckily we manage to stick together as a group most of the times. haha! walked to Boat Quay, where we manage to take a rest. kengey, jie hao and neth head home, whereas i followed CY to meet his friends at the pubs along Circular road. his friends were pub jumping between 2 pubs, so i just tagged along. CY's friend, ah zhi (yun! the one whom we thought was QUIET during the last meet up!), "forced" me to drink 2 martell on the rock and some with mixers, and thank god i managed to stay sober. or rather, i was quiet throughout, because.. haha, CY knows it best. :)

hanged out till 5ish before CY and i walked to Merchant Court hotel to get a taxi. so difficult to hail a cab man... anyway, i've no pictures for NYE, because we were either too busy eating (steamboat) or too sweaty (rubbing and buaing with the crowds). haha.

thanks for being the best thing that happened to me in 2007. and hope it'll be the same for 2008, 2009, 2010 and so forth. Happy new year, my dear. i love you. :)
