Y Virgin trip to the Vivo City.
it's Monday today! duh. -_-
went back to school as usual. was rottin' away in eGarage, then came jason and yi peng.
since jason's around, so i took the opportunity to ask him help me solve the debug error i encountered in my project. and voila, he solved everything for me! =D
had lunch with kengey at SIM today. she had 2 friends (qi fang and another gal) and i had 2 friends (li'e and lyehong) with me. we had a show down in the canteen. 3 versus 3. wahaha! right, i'm kiddin'. we did some pirate exchange in the canteen then had our lunch together. went shoppin' in the Popular bookstore before kengey&friends went for their lesson whereas we went back eGarage.
stayed there for awhile more before we decided to get si rui to sign out for us, and we left school early at 3ish.

li'e and took 174 to Chinatown for our job interview. it's pretty easy to locate the office! or was it because we are roadsmarts? hmm. LOL! the place is just our job's agency, i think. ohwells, the interview was pretty simple. we went in one by one, and i was asked a few questions then took a full length picture. that's it. and now we gotta wait for their phone call. if you have the need to know, the job scope is promoting and allowin' customers to taste the wine at the airport. flexible workin' hours. 4 hours a day. $12.50/hour. this job was introduced to us by wei liang, and i truly hope we get this job! prays*
and btw, we happened to know this eyecandy during the interview. he's also one of their part-timer and was there to get his pay? i'm not sure. we were just chattin' away casually. both li'e and i think he's cute and speaks really fluent english. his name is Sean, TP (tourism academy) student. we were chattin' with him happily on our way to the train station together, until he mentioned his girlfriend. WAH, SAD! hahahahahaha. :x
right, we parted at the bus stop where sean took the bus. li'e and i started talkin' about how cute he is after he left, and shared how sad we were to know he's attached. hahahaha! alright, i think we're gettin' a lil mad here. :x

li'e and i took NEL train to Harbour Front aftermath. stepped into Vivo City for the very first time.
the place's huge, i tell you! and the air con's like free, as we were freezin' like hell. haha! what makes us really happy was that the 4 heavenly queen are there! Zara, Mango, Forever21 and Topshop! women's all-time favourites. hahaha!
we looked at the site map to look for GV Cineplex to collect our movie tickets. we booked tickets for the 7.35pm DOA - Dead or Alive. went to have our dinner at LJS. there's even a playcourt for kids at level 2! outdoor somemore. it's like so cool lah. how i wish i'm a kid, so i can join them playin'. wahaha!
oh yea, the scenery from the top of Vivo is really breathtakin'. Sentosa can be seen from there! haha, shall bring along our cameras the next time round to do our snapping. haha! =)
shopped around the mall before our movie. AHHHHHHHHHH! the place's so big that we almost got lost in there. hahaha! Forever21 is huge! i love it. better and bigger than the one at Wisma. wahaha! lovelove. =) KENGEY! there's Pull and Bear there as well! lol.
at about 7.35pm, we made our way back to the cineplex. there's so many theatre can! 11 i think? the place is nice lah. haha! i dont mind travellin' down there to catch a movie sometimes. haha!
anyhows. DOA was a pretty cool flick. hot babes, and i bet it'll turn any guys on! hahaha. the storyline was pretty dry, but the effects were good enough to make people to catch this flick. i'll rate this 3.5 out of 5 chocobites. =)
i've decided not to download movies for the time being, and watch them in Cinema instead. unless some dumb shows, then probably i'll ahem from the net or something. the next few show i wanna catch includes The Grudge 2 ('cause got edison chen!), the guardian('cause got ashton kutcher!), The Convenant (the preview looks cool with really great lookin' hunks!) and etc. wahaha! my movie marathon mode is switched on! and this sunday li'e and i are prolly gonna catch a show at JB! =) yahoooo.

after the show, we went home. walked to the interchange to take 855 home. and ouhh, i realised that Vivo and Harbour Front Centre are connected. hmmm. LOL! i ish wols. =x bumped into jing wen (ah bui) at the interchange. haha! reached home only at about 10ish. long week ahead....

Y Suffocated.
it's close to 4am now and i just showered. actually, i can just blow dry my hair and snooze immediately, but i felt i had the need to rant. i am so extremely exhausted right now, as i've worked 15 and the half hours earlier on! gasps*

on friday night, li'e and i worked from 6pm to 11.30pm at the ballroom under Oscar. it's some school's D&D. their theme was 'back to school', which i think was pretty cool. some of the guests were dressed to the theme. clad in all kind of school uniforms. there were even a group of them wearing those ancient scholars' clothings! lol. moreover, their performance on stage were pretty entertaining. :x
li'e and i took on 4 tables that night, with stephenie as our helper. everything were pretty smooth that night lah. =)
turned in late that night... Zzz.

this morning (saturday) met up early with li'e to eat our brunch at Cine before work. we had to serve lunch in the ballroom once we reported to work. for the lunch, we worked under Ben. he's so far the best captain around already. haha! lunch went on pretty smooth, with only 7courses and 4 tables to serve. the function ended at around 3ish, then we began setting up the ballroom for dinner.
before that, we had some sort of briefing with collin. halfway through, my nose bled! it's pretty common for li'e and myself to see my nose bled, but some of the rest thought my nose bled because i got high seeing collin. the black sissy manager. duh!!! ben allowed li'e to go with me to the ladies to wash up. haha! perfect escape from all the talks. tsk!
after setting up the ballroom, some of us were sent down to mandarin court to serve dinner. it's wedding dinner under jenson and wilson (this wilson is SO different from conrad's one, so yay.). li'e and i took on 3 tables. slack! after settlin' the stuffs, we were finally released for dinner break. totally famished!
after dinner, we worked on. pretty slack lah. met some idiotic guests tho'. geez, whatever. then towards the end of the dinner, i was maligned by eddie for something which wasn't my fault at all! he didnt scold me, but i still dont like the way he spoke to me. at times, i feel he's a good manager, but tonight, he sucks.
tonight was my first time doing overtime in Meritus. i didnt wanna OT actually, but was persuaded by Ben afterall. li'e and i stayed back till 2.30am. tho' i was sleepy and my legs are aching, but its still pretty slack. the pay i get from 11.30pm onwards was easy money. just touchin' up here and there and that's it. there were tales about the Reception Room was haunted, so ALL of us stick together the whole night. haha, it was pretty eerie.
was released at about 2am to get change, and rested at the cafeteria while waitin' for the transport. shared a cab with all the Yishun people. their transport system is so different from Conrad. for Meritus, the last person whom alighted the cab gotta pay the fare, take the receipt and claim it from the hotel. unlike Conrad, which we can just sweep our backside and alight the cab as the drivers will claim from the hotel themselves.
got home at about 3am. guess this gonna be the first and prolly the last time i work OT. i wasnt really happy. but i feel better after ventin' them all out. i am tired too. ohwells. prolly i care too much, but aiya.. i dont know man. =\

monday: school 9am-5pm. interview at changi airport aftermath.
tuesday: school 9am-5pm (prolly leavin' early and get somebody to sign out for us). work 5pm-11.30pm.
wednesday: school 9am - 5pm. work 6pm-11.30pm.
thursday: school 9am - 5pm ONLY. phew*
friday: school 9am - 5pm (prolly skippin' it). work 5pm - 11.30pm.
saturday: work 7am-11.30pm. (that's like WHOA!)
sunday: REST! shoppin' at JB!! =D
that's all. let's see if i'll drop dead like i did last week. :x
my mom's birthday is coming. hmm.

i guess this is just a pre-moving-on-to-next-chapter-of-life syndrome that everybody will suffer. right ah dong? haa.
if i were to continue with my part time job while saving money to go on a holiday, how long will i need to save enough money? it seems like money's never enough.
goin' on a holiday is one thing, lookin' for a permanant suitable job is another. what job do i want?
how about my studies? i'm interested in takin' up part-time courses, majoring in a faculty of my choice (unlike now which im takin' something i loathe). but how do i go about choosing the school or courses? AND.. can i afford the fees?
what will life be for me after leavin' this vibrant school life i'm havin'?

i did nothing to my project today. because i'm totally hooked to OLOT. i've finished the whole series. the ending's reeaaaaaaaaaaaly sad. =( right, i had better not start again before kengey arrow me. it's really an awesome show anyhows.
had lunch at canteen 4 today. bumped into fizzy pooper on the way to the canteen and bumped into neth in the canteen. haha! went back to canteen 3 to look for wei liang aftermath. i had a nice time diggin' up info from wei liang about something. wakaka. i'm happy for him tho' . =)
teehee. together with martin(ma tian tian) and wei liang, we went back to eGarage to slack more. and after signing out at 4.30pm, wei liang, jason, li'e and i took 61 to Ikea for dinner together. AHHHHHHHH!! meatball meatball. yummylicious! =D we ordered the curry chicken too, and totally had our fills! extremely bloated aftermath. hahaha!
went our separate ways home after dinner. it was nice hanging out with jason and wei liang. funny asses. =)

supposed to meet li'e to go for work at 5pm. i was tempted by kengey, kimmy and ahdong to play mahjong! dammit. should have went to work so i can earn some small chinks. hahaha! the 3 of us went to shop awhile more before taking the train to meet ah dong at AMK, then took off to kengey's place after taking away our dinner at CWP.
kimmy didn't play. "ka neng" (i mean neth. oops.) joined us playing. the mahjong session tonight was horrible! lady luck's totally not on my side. not at all. we spent hours playing that one round, and i lost a whoppin' amount of 17buckeroos!!!!! =( ah dong lost $8. neth lost $2. kengey was the sole winner!!!! i seriously think she's 'pregnant'. hahaha! right, that's an inside joke. haha!
waited for ah dong to burn some CDs, before chiong-ing to take the train home together.
total damage: $25.50 + $4 (dinner) + $17 = $46.50!!!!
that's the cost of that white dress! dang.
if i went to work, i'll at least earn $36!

Y one litre of tears.
the long and hectic week had finally passed. school and work, school and work, school and work. non-stop. it's finally over. fell sick over the weekend, and i've recovered after a good rest yesterday. slept in till late, woke up for lunch and meddy, slept again, woke up for dinner, watched some TV and off to hit the covers. whoa, that should be sufficient rest for me, no?
right.

went back to school this morning. completed more pages for my application. haha, i'm actually doing my project with a whole load help from my previous ECAD assignment. other than that, i've some reference books to guide me through as well. i hope i'll be able to make it through alright. =)
had lunch with the girls at bukit timah plaza. we had Pizza, and because it's the eve of a public holiday, thus there isn't any student's meal. felt really bloated aftermath. then we head on to shop around Popular Bookstore. li'e and i went crazy over those cute babies pictures on the shelves. hahaha! :x

began watchin' a new drama this afternoon. One Litre of Tears. it's a japanese drama. totally heartbreaking. written based on a true story. so sad.
How would you be if you couldn't walk freely anymore?

this is what this Japanese Series is about. a 15 year old girl named Aya Ikeuchi has this disease and is desperately fighting it. but knowing that there's no cure yet for this sickness, how would you be? the people around you sees that you're slowly getting more and more sick every day. the pain you'll see. the tears you'll cry.
it's heartbreaking to watch a girl slowly succomb to her illness, yet still have such a positive outlook on life really does make you more aware of your own life and how life is a precious gift.
i've watched the first episode, and it looks rather promising to watch on. there's only 11 episodes so i'm sure i'll be able to finish it soon.

moreover, the OST is nice. it's depressing to listen, but still, i love it. =)

yay, whatever. since it's just a few more months before i'm graduating, so i'll just work on till i'm outta there. doubt i'll miss that place as much as i'm missing conrad.

i seriously think guys clad in their uniforms (navy, police or whatever) or in formal wears are really dashing!
because tonight's groom is a navy officer, so there's swords bearer during the couple's march-in. this isn't the only sword bearing team i've saw, but still, i've got fetish for guys in uniforms lah. haha! i also want sword bearers in my wedding in future! that will be so cool. =)

work has been pretty fine. li'e and i took on 4 tables, and at the same time, we had to train a new staff, stephenie. she's alright, just that she walks damn bloody slow! we had 3 tables of 11 pax, and the other was normal. everything was pretty smooth. i like my 2 tables, as they were really nice people. the uncle kept teasing us, and asking dumb questions like, if the fishes were alive before cook or not. duhh. LOL!
sigh. each time i worked in a wedding function, i got this urge to wanna get marry. hahahahahahahahahahahahaha! that's no joke wokay. :x riight... -_-
knocked off at 11.30pm. took the very last train home. one of the fine looking gentleman at my table actually stays in Khatib too! haha, i was on the same train and alighted the train together with him. LOL.

Y disturbed.
yawns* i'm totally exhausted. i merely slept for 2 hours last night. insomnia. =(
i swear i wasn't upset, but just disturbed by what i saw. i just happen to stumble upon it. i didn't want to. i shouldn't have. sigh, and because of those disturbing sentences, i lost my sleep. =(

work last night had been so much better than tuesday. jenson assigned me to be drinks server, whereas li'e had 2 tables near the bar. together with wei jie, we brought this new girl and prepared the cocktail stuffs. that new girl was irritating. i hate the way her jaws dropped whenever she saw me being able to balance so many glasses on my tray. actually, i was supposed to serve cocktail, but i went to help li'e. haha! then i pulled her along with me to serve cocktail. however, we did not serve for long. we brought our trays into the store to squat. why? because both of felt like shitting! tsk.
'tho i was the drinks server for the entire function room, but i kept myself to 'that' region only. and i helped li'e with the services most of the time. it's like 2 of us serving 2 tables. and the tables were all fine gentlemen, with some really good-looking ones. haha! last night's couple were really young. both of them are only 21 years old and they dated since secondary school. whoa! that explains why there's so many young guests around last night. haha!
knocked off at 11.30pm. and thankfully, i managed to take the train home this time round. =)

i am effin' pissed with some snobbish guests!!

and i'm even more pissed when i missed my last train.
ended up i took 162 to YCK and cab home. nearer and cheaper than taking cab all the way from town.
on a lighter note, i met a really nice taxi uncle. he was about to go home, and i'm his last customer. AND, he stays in yishun too. so yay, it was on the way, so he charged me cheaper at $5 only. the initial rate was 8ish bucks. haha! saved my half hour pay.
i hope tonight i won't miss my last train anymore.

Y i'm beginning to have no life. =(
went back to school for the briefing regarding the new IHP attendance system, as mentioned few days back. school has begun, so NP is no longer a dead school now because there's crowds once again! lol.
well, the briefing was bad news. from today onwards, we gotta sign in and out daily. 9am - 5pm. booo. =( so depressing. now i'm joining li'e's no life clan, since we gonna be in school during weekdays and probably working during weekends. sad. =( i'm gonna declare that i've NO LIFE! =(
looking at the bright side, the good thing is that i'm able to see my lovelies everyday!! =D sigh, guess i gotta think that way now. we're all gonna send jason our student numbers and password, so he can compile it into Excel and forward it to us. why? so we can help one another to sign in/out at times! haha. but, sigh... now that we've fixed classroom to be in, i doubt it'll be easy to skip school. for me, i'll be in one of the labs in level 6 with pei wen, wei liang and neeky. =( sad.

li'e and i took the train to bugis after that at 4ish. it's her birthday, and i decided to hang out with her. it's been a really FUN and CRAZY day! first of all, we had our lunch+dinner at Pastamania. then we head over to bugis village and did our pedicure. pampering ourselves once in awhile. teehee. =)

shopped around both bugis village and bugis junction aftermath. then we went into the neoprint shop. no, not to take prints! but... we went into several machines to take pictures, using our dcam with timer! darn cheapskate yet it's fun lah! hahaha. we did all sorts of poses. even one with me being piggy-back by li'e. i've only a couple of pictures here, and the rest are in li'e dcam.

then we even went inside intercontinental hotel to visit the loo AND camwhored. hahahahaha! =X

decided to check out if there's the sweets machine in the arcade! there is! then we spent $15 today and managed to get quite many sweets. more that the first time we tried. so fun! =D LOL!

Y Pre-celebration for Li'e's 20th Birthday!
heh! today was a pre-celebration for my smelliest da bian bestie, li'e's, 20th birthday! this woman is finally turning 20, and *coughs* it's gonna be my turn 3 months later. hoho! =) anyway, here's a lengthy and picturelicious entry about the celebration. =D
wells, to make it up for her 19th birthday (which we couldn't celebrate for her because she ain't in SG) as well, i put in extra efforts in preparing her stuffs this time round. it took me a few days to prepare the materials and 3 hours to do up this slightly bigger than A3 and smaller than A2 montage frame. i'm so proud of my artpiece afterall! heh. =P

imagine the efforts i've put into cutting this and pasting that. she must have loved it to bits. =D
other than that, i walked from orchard all the way to dhoby ghaut in search of her birthday present, which i wanna get the polka dots bag which she eyed for eons ago. but to no avail. in the end, i bought this white clutch which she touched and said it's pretty before. da bian, ain't i observant enough? wahaha!

AND, that's not all. with lye hong chipping in, i went to customise and order a birthday cake for her at the confectionary near my place last night. i chose the most girly, chocolatey and creamy one for her. hahaha, the cake was so li'e-ish lah!

'nuff said about the surprises. i had to carry them all the way from yishun to prinsep. i admit that was such a chore, and i had the urge to cab there. but i hadn't wanna splurge this way, so yay, i tried my best to ignore all the weird glances people gave and took 857 there. hahahaha!
oh yay, i've made reservation for 4 at 7pm at The Mind Cafe. it was my 2nd time there. during my first, it was pleasant enough to patronise again, so i introduce the place to them. and the credits of cause goes to ah dong! hahaha! it's really a great chill-out place, and i'm seriously considering of signing up the membership during my next trip. probably soon, since we're entitled to free 2 hours boardgaming next time round. tsk! =P
right, side tracked a little. anyhow, i got there earlier than the rest as i need to put the cake and my presents with the waitress. (note: that waitress is so nice!) went outside to wait for li'e, scott and lye hong. it was nice seeing scott again. =) if i'm not wrong, the last time we met was eons ago? during our triple date? i guess so. right, that isn't important.
we got ourselves a really comfortable sofa seat. the exact same spot i was at with the rest during kengey's birthday. haha! we got settled and ordered our meal. this time round we tried out the boardgame package for 4pax, which i think it's rather worthwhile. =)
i went to get some games to try out. the first game we played was Intrigue, which we found we're not that intrigued by the game afterall. hahaha! and so we paused our games and tucked in. look at our messy table. lol.
we continued with our boardgames aftermath. i introduced them Snorta! which i played with my friends the other time round. the animal game, remember? haha! it's great to see all of us loosen up and started "meow-ing", "brr-ing", "meh-ing" and "oink-ing". hahaha, it was as hilarious as the first time i played. =)
we tried many other games as well. even the fruits salad game too. and guess what's the game of the day which made ALL of us burst into huge fits of laughter? haha! totally dig this game. as it reveals all our artist cells in us. err, i guess not. HAHAHA!
Luck of the Draw
each player was given a pad of papers, a pencil and a voting wheel. i won't go into the details, but it's pretty much like some artistic academy awards thingy. we'll roll the die and pick out the theme as of what to draw within 30secs, then we gotta vote without first revealing who drew which. there's all kinds of awards available. cutest, strangest, crappiest, neatest, etc etc. there's many crappy awards! the fun part of this game is to see all our rubbish pictures. hahahaha! i seriously can't draw! let's check out some of our artpieces. go figure out who drew which yourselves. it's not that difficult to tell. and i swear they were all thrash! LOL.

lol. and then, i told the rest i'm heading to the ladies, which i'm actually off to collect the cake and present. the nice waitress (aiya, should have asked for her name or something) helped me with the preparations. i had li'e and scott seated with their backs facing the counter right from the start, which i must say was a good choice. when i brought the cake near to our table, i signalled to lye hong to start singing a birthday song. i loved to see li'e's surprised face! hahaha. i bet she must have wondered why had i turned up empty handed in the first place. woohahaha! =D

we then left at about 10.30pm after playing the fruits salad game. li'e and i emerged to be the final winners, with our hands all red and bruised. hahaha! i really gotta thank scott for the treat, and it had been nice hanging out with my bestie's boyfriend. at least this time round the atmosphere wasn't as awkward as the first time round. it's much easier to strike conversation with him now. may he have the smoothest journey back to the states tomorrow. =) haha!
and since now it's past 12am, i'd like to wish li'e a happiest 20th birthday. i hope you'll like what we've prepared for you. well, i wish you will be as young as your faith, as old as your doubts, as young as your self-confidence, as old as your fears, as young as your hopes and as old as your despair. may there be abundant joy for you and your loved ones. happy birthday, girl. =)
