Y Suffocated.
it's close to 4am now and i just showered. actually, i can just blow dry my hair and snooze immediately, but i felt i had the need to rant. i am so extremely exhausted right now, as i've worked 15 and the half hours earlier on! gasps*

on friday night, li'e and i worked from 6pm to 11.30pm at the ballroom under Oscar. it's some school's D&D. their theme was 'back to school', which i think was pretty cool. some of the guests were dressed to the theme. clad in all kind of school uniforms. there were even a group of them wearing those ancient scholars' clothings! lol. moreover, their performance on stage were pretty entertaining. :x
li'e and i took on 4 tables that night, with stephenie as our helper. everything were pretty smooth that night lah. =)
turned in late that night... Zzz.

this morning (saturday) met up early with li'e to eat our brunch at Cine before work. we had to serve lunch in the ballroom once we reported to work. for the lunch, we worked under Ben. he's so far the best captain around already. haha! lunch went on pretty smooth, with only 7courses and 4 tables to serve. the function ended at around 3ish, then we began setting up the ballroom for dinner.
before that, we had some sort of briefing with collin. halfway through, my nose bled! it's pretty common for li'e and myself to see my nose bled, but some of the rest thought my nose bled because i got high seeing collin. the black sissy manager. duh!!! ben allowed li'e to go with me to the ladies to wash up. haha! perfect escape from all the talks. tsk!
after setting up the ballroom, some of us were sent down to mandarin court to serve dinner. it's wedding dinner under jenson and wilson (this wilson is SO different from conrad's one, so yay.). li'e and i took on 3 tables. slack! after settlin' the stuffs, we were finally released for dinner break. totally famished!
after dinner, we worked on. pretty slack lah. met some idiotic guests tho'. geez, whatever. then towards the end of the dinner, i was maligned by eddie for something which wasn't my fault at all! he didnt scold me, but i still dont like the way he spoke to me. at times, i feel he's a good manager, but tonight, he sucks.
tonight was my first time doing overtime in Meritus. i didnt wanna OT actually, but was persuaded by Ben afterall. li'e and i stayed back till 2.30am. tho' i was sleepy and my legs are aching, but its still pretty slack. the pay i get from 11.30pm onwards was easy money. just touchin' up here and there and that's it. there were tales about the Reception Room was haunted, so ALL of us stick together the whole night. haha, it was pretty eerie.
was released at about 2am to get change, and rested at the cafeteria while waitin' for the transport. shared a cab with all the Yishun people. their transport system is so different from Conrad. for Meritus, the last person whom alighted the cab gotta pay the fare, take the receipt and claim it from the hotel. unlike Conrad, which we can just sweep our backside and alight the cab as the drivers will claim from the hotel themselves.
got home at about 3am. guess this gonna be the first and prolly the last time i work OT. i wasnt really happy. but i feel better after ventin' them all out. i am tired too. ohwells. prolly i care too much, but aiya.. i dont know man. =\

on a lighter note, im gonna have some EXTRA income soon! =)
shall have a good rest tomorrow..
