Y i can't give you a reason.
12th august - indeed a remarkable day for me. Labels: Family/Friends, History
met up with a dear friend of mine. yes, tiffany! it's been a great great day with you. i'm sorry that i cant be the one doing the travelling this time round again. i'm sure we'll have the chance again soon right? :)
it's been a great day, and i felt like both of us were in our own world, doing our endless catching up. lunch, shopping. dinner and chilling. oh my god, blithely date out with you my dear girl! but good times always have to end so soon, and before we knew it, it's time for us to head back home.
what i can say is, i really love this dear old friend of mine. friends for 7 going to 8 years, and our bond is forever so strong. and tiffy even bought me a really cute Elmo top as a belated birthday present. Elmo - our ol'school time's fetish! hahahahaha. thanks girl! but she did gave me a fright when we can't get in touch with her after we parted! both xiu ping and her mom called me and told me tiffy left her passport at her sister's place, and had hope to contact you via me. but they were too late! hahaha, but i'm glad they finally got in touch with you in the end. be safe girl. :)
i don't know when's the next time we'll meet, but i know it won't be that long. =)
and, guess what? tonight's really a pretty weird night. i'm actually chatting with Wilson right now! we've started talking since 10ish, and now it's past 12 already. well, he msn-ed me earlier asking if i was wearing Brown today. 'cause he thought he saw me at Tampines just now, but apparently it wasn't me he saw. luckily he didn't went up to say hi, which he intended to, if not it'll be so embarrassing man. and oh, he did saw me once at Bugis with li'e few weeks back. oh man, so our paths had crossed quite a few times before! :/
it began that way. and we're catching up now. it feels funny, that we are able to talk like the past, and even talked about the past. about the mistakes. about the hurt. about the break-up. about the aftermath. basically, we talked about everything! i swear this is really weird! and surprisingly, he actually remembered and knew many things about me and us! and it seems like we've many many many many misunderstanding in the past!
everything became so clear to me now. like what we've been saying and repeating, let bygones be bygones. and i'm glad that we are friends again. and we're bugging de xiang for our Fullerton treat, which he gonna treat me after getting the $300 APMI referral fees. hahaha!
life's so funny huh? i was just catching up with tiffy, and of cause he was in our topics too, and now, we're chatting! and now, all the selected-to-be-forgotten memories between us came crashing back to me again. in fact, i still remembered everything! ohmy. and this made me wondered, if the other guy will come back into my life somehow someway again few years down the road. ohwells. life's really unpredictable.
but thanks boy. for bringing a lil hope in my life, again. :)
p.s: finally. my siao char boh is coming home tomorrow! and i can't wait to share with her what happened today!!!!! welcome home larling! :D

riight, shan't be bothered by such stuffs. i'm feeling dead tired, and a little lazy to update about my days at work. and it's pretty mundane to write about similar stuffs everyday, but because of people like my larling who wants to be updated about our workplace, i shall do a recount on everything. teehee. (:
friday
reached conrad at about 5.30pm, and i quickly went to change. met marhaini in the washroom and we were so excited lah. because its been quite long since we last seen each other. err, think it's way before the lunar 7th month. went to the ballroom to report after that. initially, samsi was telling ramesh to let me be the VIP server that night. i heard and almost laughed out loud, and quickly rejected before ramesh even said anything. this kinda thing i'd rather do it when larling's around. so i went to do other miscelleneous stuffs instead.
at about 6.30pm, we had our briefing by jovin outside grand salon. speakin' bout jovin, i know SOMETHING about him. teeheehee. baby just told me only. larling, come and ask me about it, i tell you. :x right, baby walked past us during briefing and he seems so stressed up and tired looking again. :/ anyways, briefing took quite long because jovin's really very loh soh. argh! lol. was assigned to our tables aftermath. i was put to partner with beng san and serve 2to3. holy shitness.
went to serve cocktail till the door opens. i was really busy the whole night, because my 3 tables kept asking for drinks and some other stuffs. i remembered i had to run in and out of the ballroom so many times. moreover, my tables are at the south room, which is quite a distance to the bar. argh! and bengsan's busy portioning the food as well. the 2 of us were totatlly zonked out lah. bah! and during the 2nd march-in, we finally can take a short breather. phew*
we managed to pull through the dinner, which ended quite late at 11.30pm. the only good thing was that, i ate alot of food during dinner! haha, because lulu was the VIP server then she gave me some food to eat each time i walked past. lol. we had a quick turnover with jovin as the in-charge. at 12.30am, some staffs were let off, and jovin wanted me to stay, but then i told him i'll be working morning shift the next day, so he allowed me to go home. however, we couldn't make it for the 12.30am transport and had to take the 1.30am one instead. zzz.
after we got changed, a big group of us sat together in the canteen to chit-chat while waiting for 1.30am. there were marhaini, zaeid, kelvin, jing xuan, melvin, etc etc. haha, we were discussing about next week's outdoor catering, which will be in-charge by dalland, who went reservist for these few days. when it was about time to go, we went to the lobby to wait for our transport. while waiting, i had a nice chat with marhaini. teeheehee. she actually kinda saw my phone, and began asking me about my boyfriend. i think she's a nice and trusted friend, so i told her about baby. yay, almost the same reaction as teckson. haha! it's been nice talking to her anyways. we decided to meet together before going for work the next day, which the both us are working 11am. (:
anyhows, i finally reached home at 2.30am, and turned in only at 3am. i had insomnia again. didn't really slept well in the end. slept for about 4hours only and i'm up. zzz.
saturday
woke up at 9am and got ready for work. I'M SUPER SLEEPY! but i've got no choice. :/ reached the changing room at about 10.30am, and marhaini was waiting for me to get changed. went to the canteen to rot for 10minutes, and at the same time chit-chat with teckson. at 11am, then we went upstairs to report. baby was no where in sight at that time, but jap and jing xuan were around since 8am. haha!
began tying chair bows while waiting for all the staffs. sam and steven began having a small competition to see who ties the nicer bows. all of us were the judge, and in the end, steven won. haha, lame lah. once everyone's present, ramesh assigned us our tables. oh, it was a wedding buffet today. so 1 person to 2 tables. i take table 1 and 2. after which, i went to serve cocktail. teckson was talking to me about baby, then blah blah blah. so funny. i'm lazy to blog in details. tired. zzz.
when the lunch began at 1ish, there's the march-in and stuffs. the guests began diggin in their food. baby was back from don't where to be in the ballroom, and he's always nearby. teehee. (: like any other buffets, all we did were clearing and checking of beverages. but today's slightly different because i had to carry the oval trays in myself. boohoohoo. so each time i wanna carry my oval tray in, i'll stack as little stuffs as i can manage before i carry them in. i overestimated a couple of times, and i tried to carry. IN THE END, baby came to rescue. he helped me carry in most of the trays. teeheeheehee! =D once in awhile, we will go to the back to nibble food (as always). baby even came and get me to go eat this really expensive and nice chocolate cake at the back. hahahaha.
wells, everything's like normal loh. the lunch ended at about 4pm and we did turnover for tonight's wedding dinner. ramesh actually forgotten to gave us time to eat earlier on, until baby told him about it. so he gathered everyone and we helped ourselves to leftover buffet food. LOL. like the other time, we take the food and gathered on one table to eat. haha! halfway through eating, the groom actually came into the ballroom to talk to steven. OMG. then all of us quickly stood up and keh siao do clearing then siam to kitchen continue to eat. hahaha, so funny.
continued to work after that. ramesh gave each of us a few tables to clear and set up for dinner. i was in charge of 3 tables. changed the table clothes all that, then do set-up. haha, jap came and help me, then he told me some really cold jokes. it's cold but sure do crank me up. stupid donut and dumpling joke! lol. we were doing our work till the 5pm and 6pm staffs arrived then they helped us out too. sat at a corner with marhaini, jing xuan, baby, tracy, lulu and xia yun to fold napkins after that.
at 6pm, we had briefing by jovin again. i so badly didn't wanna stay back to help out the dinner, because i'm really very tired. there were there 8am staffs, jap, jingxuan and ahboon, who sure will go back. then they can afford to let one 11am staff home. SO, i gave samsi this look-at-my-tired-eyes face, then ramesh and him let me go home! hahaha. but before that, i was in the ballroom with the three 8am staffs to settle the chocolates and doorgifts. then i went "shopping" with jap downstairs to look for some stuffs. then we took this opportunity to go toilet then go canteen drink water, before doing what we were supposed to do. haha!
and at 7.30am, i was finally signed out. so now jovin owes me half hour pay, because i worked more than 8hours and had to minus 1/2 break hours which i didn't went for break at all. will claim it back from him on monday. *REMINDER* haha. so jingxuan and i quickly went to change, then together with jap, we walked outta hotel together. silly jap forgot to take his bus pass somemore. so jingxuan accompanied to walk till the overhead bridge which i need to cross to go over bugis, before we parted. hmm, jing xuan was suspecting my boyfriend's from conrad too. she kept guessing and guessing, yet i don't dare to tell her. not that i don't trust her, but because she's melvin's friend. jing xuan kept assuming it's wilson, which is correct lah, but i denied. geez, sometimes all these made me REALLY wanna make our relationship open in conrad. maybe can hoh, since baby's not the coordinator already. hmmm.
i walked as fast as my legs could carry me to bugis, because baby was there waiting for me. he knocked off earlier than me, and had waited for me for 1 and half hour already. teehee. reached there about 8.15pm, then we had our dinner at Pastamania. i brought up about the idea of me joining peiyun to work at some pubs to baby, and he wasn't that happy about it. so guess he won't let me work there loh. haha, nevermind. he actually suggested me to change a job, instead of staying in conrad, because conrad's getting tougher and tougher as the days go by. hmmm, i don't think so i wanna stop working and change environment. banquet is the most suitable flexible hours job that i can have to juggle between work and school. so yeah. and oh, it's actually NOT that bad to work alone afterall, considering the past 2 days at work had been pretty enjoyable with people like marhaini, jing xuan and jap around. teehee. ((:
after dinner, we took 130 to baby's place to rot. haha, that poor boy's computer broke down! he reformatted the whole thing, and now all his files are gone. ouch* while he's fixing his computer, i actually dozed off on the sofa. i'm really very tired lah. left his place at 11ish, and i bought home supper for my family. oh, my brother bought a new phone. he bought the same model as mine - Sony Ericsson K700i. and has changed to become M1 user. haha! and i've took baby's bluetooth adaptor for him to transfer song, and for me to change my songs. lol.
and now i'm finally back home. tomorrow i won't be working, and i should REALLY take a gooooooooooooooood rest, before i'm going to work my ass off the next few days. thank goodness for pei yun to replace me tomorrow night, if not i'll be a zombie soon. haha! i know i'm weak. :x anyhows, monday i'm working with peiyun at 6pm, and tuesday our timing's changed to 10am. shucks, i'm so dead. oh, baby gonna cancel my friday booking, as that's his off day. sorry for the delay, as now it's the only time i can really sit down and blog. right, no time is just an excuse. haha! anyhows, work yesterday was okay. working alone (as in without people like larling and peiyun) wasn't that bad afterall. haha. i took my own time and i reached conrad at 2.30pm yesterday. took 20 minutes to change and bun my hair. as usual lah. and at 3pm, i went upstairs to sign in.
when i was in the office, all the black jackets were having their daily briefing in the room so i can't get the lockers key. haha, and i don't dare to knock the door and go in like that. in the end, i stood there and waited until i saw berry then i got him to get the locker keys for me. :x went to east-west room to rot with other trainees. made friends with a few of them, and met a few i already met the other time when i worked in the afternoon. haha! mingle around with them, helped them with the clearing of the coffee break a little. when the black jackets' meeting were over, mery came and look for me to ask me for my booking next week. i can't confirm with her as i've already got baby to book for me. :x mery then told me that i'll be attached to wilson (yes, baby) to prepare some stuffs for the president suite event in the evening.
baby came over and gave me instructions. we gotta prepare some stuffs lah. it ended up baby did most of the things, whereby i did only a few. HAHAHAHAHA. oops. :x after about a hour or so, baby asked me to go into the ballroom to look for jasmine to help set up. okay loh, so i helped out and set up the east-west room. there were still meetings going on in the north and south room, so we can't set up for that. at about 5ish, then the meetings ended. we had a massive turnover. people from other departments came and helped out too. that's madness can. it's so like we having a war. lol. oh, i made another new friend today. haha. she's jing xuan. (:
at about 7pm, we had a small briefing regarding last night's function, some farewell party dinner&dance, buffet style. there were only a few staffs last night, and each staff had to take care of 2 tables. i was assigned to take care 1 vip table and 1 normal table. aiya, we didn't had to do much stuffs anyways. basically just clearing and beverages. after the briefing, i was released to have my dinner. i was starving and the canteen's serving yummylicious food. wahaha! wells. poor baby was too busy to even have his meal. that's the disadvantage of him being back to operation. :/
went back to the ballroom after i'm done eating. steve asked me to serve cocktail, and very soon later, the dinner began. whoa, that's alot of japanese last night. haha! i don't know why, but japanese just reminds me of neeky. lol. right, once guests were seated, we did the usual stuffs. then they had some programmes on stage. all of us think it's craps. the only acceptable programme was the live band, because the guitarists played really well and their singing is so nice. hmmm. (: throughout the dinner, all we did were clearing and checking of drinks. nothing much actually, 'cause most of the time we were standing by the side watching the performance or going to the backlane nibbling food patrick and lu jia kept for us. HAHAHA. :x
by right, the dinner's supposed to end at 1am, but the ballroom was emptied by 11ish. lol. did the turnover and all. it's not a massive turnover actually, but i don't know how we can dragged the time till we knocked off at 2am. lol. the ballroom, with simple turnover, had 5 staffs and 2 black jackets (steve and jasmine), whereby baby only had 3 staffs with him and they had to turn over 6 rooms, salon 1-4, boardroom and grand salon. is that crazy or what? each time i past by baby, his face looked so stressed. :/
so everyone knocked off at 2am and took transport together. the taxis came only at 2.30am, so during the half hour, we went to the canteen to eat some light supper. chit chat with lulu, patrick and zaeid a little before we went to take our transport. took the same cab as jasmine, yam and zaeid. didn't get to see baby in the end, as i think he was doing something else. on the cab, after jasmine alighted, yam and i made zaeid share with us his love story with hui lin. haha, he told us in a way whereby he sings! LOL. nevermind. after which, yam and i chit-chatted about some stuffs till it was my turn to alight. was sms-ing with baby, who's on another cab, all the way back. haha! (: got home at 3am, and looked for larling to chat online as she's waiting for me. LOL. so nice to have someone waiting for you to knock off everyday. :x turned in at 4ish in the end. (:
as for today, i got up at 11ish and did my booking. baby asked me to call mery myself to book. it's his off day today. oh, so next week both pei yun and i will be together every day. YAY! i'll be working on monday 6pm, tuesday 12pm, wednesday 3pm, thursday 6pm and friday 6pm. wednesday we'll be going for outdoor catering. 7bucks more, YAY! =D lol.
riight, was glued to my tv the entire afternoon watching my VCD, mr fighting. great show indeed. my brother booked out today. and at 4ish, baby came over my place to watch DVD together. after my mom knocked off, she cooked us dinner. baby stayed over for dinner as well. oh yah, my brother lost his phone! SEE, who ask him to laugh at me the other time. ohwells. after dinner, we sat down and watch tv together. then my brother friends, eric, shalon and tamade, came over to play mahjong.
at 9ish, baby and i left to go downstairs yum cha before he went home. hmm, though it was short and simple, i'm contented already. somehow, i miss the times we had in genting leh. teehee. i feel like going out to enjoy with him some day, but lately we're mostly too engrossed in working, i guess. nevermind, perhaps another time. probably the day when he says to bring me go night safari with his friends we'll enjoy. yay, and i wanna treat him to movies on my next pay day. yay. (:
okie pokie. tomorrow i'll be working ALONE again at 6pm. this time round baby won't be around with me anymore, because he's working morning shift tomorrow. boohoos. :/ i'll stick to nancy tomorrow then. :\ oh, 6oct is my dooms day - release of our results. ohohoh. shucks.. :/ toodles~

Y weekend post!
wow, i've been out for more than 24 hours already. and now it's time i get myself back in track and be ready to keep myself busy with other more useful stuffs. here's an update about my weekend. (:
saturday
jie hao and i went to kengey's place at about 1ish in the afternoon. our purpose of going over her place was to wrap up ahdong's present, as well as for me to write my birthday message for him onto the card we got for him. haha. was brainstorming on how to wrap the present, and in the end, we decided to wrap it up with 21 (minus 2 nice wrappers and 1 tissue box) layers of newspapers. haha! 21 because it's his 21st birthday. ain't we thoughtful? =D so kengey did the wrapping, and wrote dumb messages on each layer. lol. she spent 2 hours wrapping it, so we expect ahdong to be damn careful unwrapping it later at night. hmm, so while kengey's wrapping the present, jiehao and i were watching Initial D.
by the way, here's pictures of the fossil watch we bought for ahdong. the final products and the card. (:
so at 5ish. we waited for kengey to got ready, then we went to woodlands interchange to meet buggy. took 168 to tampines, before taking the train to pasir ris. we tried to look for the shuttle bus stand, but we couldn't locate where is it. we resorted to sharing a cab into aloha loyang instead. that place was where we had our Secondary 1 Leadership Camp back in 2000. initially, i couldn't remember what happened last time, then kengey began reminiscing them. slowly memories of those days flashed back in my mind. tiffy dearie, remember how we went ga-ga over somebody? haha! yay. if we hold on together...
riight, went into bungalow4 where ahdong and his friends were. whoa, so many unfamiliar faces. felt pretty awkward at first. the 4 of us sat at one side and were in our own world, while waiting for zeee to arrive. haha! anyhows, the "chalet" doesn't look like a chalet at all. it's a bungalow, remember? there's living room, kitchen, a backyard, a frontyard and 4 bedrooms. yay! damn cool. it's exactly like the ones we stayed during our leadership camp back then. haha!
after zeee came, we went into an empty room for her to take a shower. and we waited. we got really bored the whole night. sighs* we entertained ourselves inside the room. haha!

so after zeee's done, we went outside and began digging food. the buffet food were good. but we were too shy to go BBQ more stuffs to eat. haha! oh, mr seow came as well. that's for sure one mah, because ahdong's our school NPCC cadet inspector (CI) and mr seow's the teacher in-charge, so of cause we'll see him there. haha! there were many other CIs who came last night too. i was once a NPCC cadet, remember? so yay, those people whom i'm afraid of appeared last night! LOL. ahdong's elder brother, zhi wei, was once my sir as well. hahahaha. i will always remember his face when he scolded me during one of the camps' 5BX. lol. wells, he came and talked to me last night. boon bee mam as well. saw so many other familiar faces. LUCKILY, we didn't see gary sir. WAHAHA. :x
alright, so the 5 of us sat at one corner and ate our food. ahdong invited so many people. his poly mates, secondary school mates, NPCC kakis, etcetc. over 80ish people i heard? haha! after eating, we went inside the empty room to slack again, while waiting for the time to cut the birthday cake. at about 9ish, ahdong took out his birthday cake and began taking group pictures. haha, there were MANY different groups lah. he was calling out "poly friends", "NPCC", "sec sch friends", etc. when it was our group, we were wondering what he'll call us. like say "zhu peng gou you"? hahaha! but he didn't lah, he just gestured us over. shall wait for him to send me the group picture before i post it up. (:
sang the birthday song for him, then zhiwei helped to distribute cakes to everyone. aftermath, ahdong and his friends were busy taking pictures, so we sat at the side and waited. and at 10ish, ahdong said he'll walk his friends out, so we went to the room to wait for him. yay, we wanna him to open our present lah! it was too special not to be missed. haha! we waited to about 11pm then he came back to open our present. tsk tsk, he must have enjoyed opening it right? he was tearing the newspapers inpatiently loh. lol. and finally, he saw our watch. wells, it was the 3rd watch he received. pei wen&co. gave him a 25hour watch, and his uncle (i think) gave him another too. awww, sad. we gonna make sure ahdong wears our watch whenever he's out with us. haha!

HAPPY 21st BIRTHDAY (in advance)!!! hmm, his actual birthday is on the 28th. teehee. =D after everything, we decided not to stay overnight (except for jiehao), and went off instead. ahdong walked us out, and we took cabs to separate ways. buggy, zeee and kengey shared one to woodlands, whereby i took one on my own to baby's.

hmm. i think baby's not very happy about me leaving off too late, and had to take cab. he was hoping i'll take bus or train, instead of spending my money unnecessary on cab fares. sigh, sowie bi. i promise not to spend my money like this anymore. :/ reached baby's at about 12ish, and my cab fare was 17buckeroos. ouch* i got changed, talked on the phone with twinny then bi and i watched television, before we turned in at 2ish. zzz..
sunday
guess what time we woke up today? haha! you wouldn't believe it. 4pm! haha, we got up then get ready to go out for a movie. went to balestier shaw plaza and caught 5.30pm the cave. that place looks familiar, but i don't remember going there before. haha, that place's never crowded. bought our tickets, and went to have our lunch(?) at mac's before going for the movie. hmm, the movie's very cool. nice effects. (:
after the movie, we took the bus back to baby's place. watched TV all the way till 11pm before i took 855 home. haha, was watching rush hour at his place mah. :x i was craving for some pratas since last night, but bi claims that it's too heaty and is bad for my wound on my leg so he doesn't allow me to eat. sighs*
oh, nevermind. anyhows, i'll be working 6pm with pei yun tomorrow evening. i'm seriously wondering how can i wear stocking with my leg like that? hmm. bibi gave me permission not to wear stocking, but i will feel weird leh. think i'll bandage my leg before i wear the stocking. duhhh. i'm off to watch VCD. goodnights. Y i wanna let you know, that i will always love you baby.
hmm. never judge a movie by it's POSTER! haha. the myth indeed was an interesting movie, even though the poster gives you a this-is-a-boring-show-so-don't-watch-it feeling to it. wells, that's according to my brother's friend, eric, when i told them i'm gonna watch it with baby last night. haha!
decided to meet baby for a movie last night after he knocked off from work. because i was still "half-limping" yesterday, and my dad drove his boss's car home, so i decided to sa jiao with my dad to get him send me to Bishan J8 to meet baby. tsk. wahaha! at that time, my mom, brother and his friends, eric and shalon, were at my place playing mahjong, and all of us intended to go yum cha at night. so.. because of me, they had to stop their game and followed my dad to send me to bishan before they went off to yum cha, without me. hahaha! i big shot eh? (:
caught 9.20pm the myth with baby. it was a great show, i must say. very interesting. wells, jackie chan's shows are always full of cool stunts, which made the show extra-interesting, no? haha! after the show, we took 410 to the bus stop at baby's place. and from there, i caught the last 855 home. (:
as for today, i went on a shopping spree with kengey. teehee! it was a superb day spent with her. right kengey? =D i think i've irritated her with the "my leg very ugly hoh?" speech. haha! met up with her at her place's bus stop at 1ish, and we went to take 187 from woodlands interchange to change to 190 at bukit panjang. alighted at cineleisure and we had pastamania for lunch, before we began with our shopping spree. waha! =D
wells, we shopped from heeren, to takashimaya, to wisma atria, to far east plaza and took a bus to shop at plaza singapura. haha! bought few accessories lah. :x i wanted to buy THAT slip-on from e:xodus, but the outlets in both heeren and PS don't have my size anymore. BOOHOOHOO. i love it can. sighs* i'm gonna hunt for it, by hook or by crook. teehee.
bumped into my brother at starbucks in PS. he was with eric, shalon, dewei and his girlfriend. they saw kengey and i, but i did not see them. then eric used his phone, which i don't have his number, to call me and made me guess who is he all that. until my brother took over the phone and talk to me. haha, went to look for him then they were asking us to join them go KTV. err, i don't sing so i rejected and went on to do my shopping. wahaha! (:
at 7ish, kengey and i took 162 to continue to shop at city hall area. was sms-ing with baby, and he was waiting for 162 at convention centre to go home. lol, so... he board the bus kengey and i were on, then kengey and i alighted one stop after he board. yay, so i can look at him for a short while before we said byebye. teehee. i'm contented already lah. hahahahaha. oooh wheee! =D alright, so kengey and i roamed around suntec city and then marina square. in the end, we settled ourselves at LJS for dinner. lol.
took 857 home aftermath. chatted alot with kengey. it was great. teehee. and i got home at 10ish. my leg's aching already. haha, plus that bloody wound's increasing the pain. sighs* anyhows, i won't be coming home tomorrow night. most likely lah. gonna head off to aloha loyang for ahdong's 21st birthday bash. i've got a busy week, as i've mentioned last week. haha! somehow, i'm missing baby lots. :/ right, i can't have any sabotage plans for ah dong, because of my leg. well well well. (: will be going to kengey's place in the afternoon to do up his card before we meet up the rest to go to the chalet together. =D

Y Genting Trip!
(argh. i wrote a long entry, then the system hanged on me, and i gotta re-blog everything now. guess it'll be a pretty brief one as i'm losing my blogspirations.)
anyhows, i'm home!! =D the trip to genting was absolutely fun!! be prepared for a picturelicious blog entry ahead. happy loading. (:
friday - 16/9
met up with baby at 7ish at bugis on that night. he came straight from work. went to have our dinner in LJS. we had about an hour plus before it's time to meet twinny and zhiyong at golden mile complex at 9pm. so we went to shop around bugis village before taking 980 to meet them.
went to check in at the agency, before we board the coach. our seats were 2 singles and 1 double, which means 1 couple will have to be splited up. but wells, in the end twinny and i sat together whereby the guys took the 2 singles seats. haha. the bus departed at about 10pm, and after a short while, we reached the custom in tuas where we checked in and all that stuffs. twinny then decided to give up her seat to baby for him to sit with me, because of some reasons. teehee. (: when i got to Malaysia, then i realised that my phone actually has got auto-roaming. haha, but i can only receive calls/sms, but can't return them. lol.

saturday - 17/09
happy 4th month to baby and i. <3
tried to sleep but can't really sleep well. at 12mn, i wanted to wish baby happy 4th month, but he was sound asleep already so i decided to wish later. teehee. didn't get to do what i've planned anyway. it's okay. (: right, we had a 20mins break at yong peng at about 2ish. went to buy some local food products home for my parents from the shop, and bought some burgers to eat on the bus. lol. 
i think this's very funny. that's zhiyong wearing his waterproof army jacket.
the journey to genting seems so fast, because we reached genting at 4.15am. earlier then i expected. haha. we alighted at hotel first world. the weather there is so damn chilly and nice. it's cold, but i love it. =D went to drink some hot cocoa at starbucks, before we went to take the queue number for rooms checking in at 5am.

after getting our queue number, we were told that we can only get our room after 9am, which was about 4 hours later. baby and zhi yong went to put our bags at the bell service counter, then we went around the mall to look around. wells, all the shops were closed already. haha. oh, my nose bleed twice that morning. :/ went back to the hotel lobby to take a nap at a corner. the chair was so darn uncomfy, so this is what we did. 
haha, that's me lying on bi's lap. twinny took it when we were asleep. geez. looks so obsence. haha.
i did the same. tsk.
we nudged the guys up at about 7.45am because we were hungry. hahaha. had our breakfast in Macdonalds. we got really bored, so here's what bi and i did to the food. haha. :x 
at 9am, we went to wait for our turn to check-in. got our rooms only at about 10ish. 18th floor. 18 732 and 18 733. baby and i took 732. it's pretty cosy lah, but i still prefer the rooms in hotel genting. right, so we took a half an hour rest and i took a shower before we went out again at 11ish. i wished baby happy 4th month in our room, and i gave him this (below) which i bought last week which i found it cute.

so all of us went to get the outdoor/indoor theme park tickets at RM48 each. we hit the outdoor one first, and we tried most of the rides. haha, i even met my clarinet "shi fu", beatrice, from NPCB there. what a conincidence. haha! hmmm, i just love the weather there. how i wish singapore can be that cooling as well. haha. 
the space shot was totally cool man! only zhi yong, baby and i took it. haha. it was darn thrilling, especially when it shots down. i sat with baby and he held on to my hand all the while. lol, on the way down, i was squeezing his hand and screaming so damn loud. and baby still got the cheek to laugh at me. ~!%#$ haha!

heard of the asia's first flying coaster? it's at genting and we took it that day. it cost us RM10 each. and boy, it was really thrilling!! especially when it flips 360degrees. hahaha. (: no pictures for this tho. check this out at the genting website then. haha. went to have our lunch at marry brown after that.
baby then suggested horse riding as our next activity. so we took the cable car downhill for it. woot, it was my first time taking the cable car and rode a horse leh! i was so excited lah. haha, i sound so mountain terter ya. :x

the scenery from the cable car is so breathtakingly beautiful that i can't help but snap it down.
haha. once we were downhill, we went to awana horse ranch to ride the horsey. teehee. it only cost us RM3 for that short but nice experience. lol, the horse is really beautiful. it's white in colour. 
the horse seems tall, and we were rather afraid of riding it at first. but wells, baby went first. hahahaha. :x and he kept complaining that i didn't take a nice full view picture of him riding the horse. teehee, sorry lah! i was trying to figure out how to use his phone's camera lah. too slow i guess. :x

here's the rest.
it was really a superb experience. (: we took the cable car back uphill aftermath. teehee. (: twinny and i waited outside the casino while the guys went to the money changer. 
once they are done, we went outside to get the feel of the cold air. haha! 
after that, we decided to go back to our rooms for a short while. baby and zhi yong decided to take a short nap. then when twinny and i were ready to go, we went to shake our boys up. haha. :x our next activity was shopping! the things sold there were rather expensive, except those on the pushcarts. haha, i didn't get much things lah. only got a few accessories items for friends and myself. and when its about dinner time, we wanted to have buffet, but in the end we changed our minds and dine at pizza hut instead. we had lots of fun crapping and eating. we were laughing so much. lol. (:

after we had our full, we went to take some rides in the indoor theme park. 
the fun part was when we played bumper car. twinny skipped it 'cause of her feet. initially, zhiyong, baby and i wanted to take one car each, but because of all the attacking strategies the guys had, i decided to take baby's car instead. hahaha. so fun bullying the kids. after a few bumps, the kids shouted to one another and say to attack baby and i. LOL. damn funny lah. :x
well, we went back to our rooms at 11ish. early right? because we decided to turn in early for we're leaving early in the morning. went back and took a shower. then baby and i slept at about 1ish. i had a nice sleep man. i usually thought i wouldnt be able to sleep well in hotel rooms, but this time it was different and i slept so damn soundly. haha! =D
sunday - 18/9
woke up at 6ish. showered, and woke everyone up. i had a tough time waking twinny and zhiyong up. i had to knock their door and shout so many times. in the end, baby helped me to wake them up. haha! ohmy, and zhiyong's snores! hahahaha. :x
after everyone's ready, we left the hotel rooms at 7.30am. went to take a cab (RM60) to putu raya at KL. whoa, my first time going to KL. hahaha. :x that place very messy, and baby had to hold my hand all the while and all of us sticked close to one another. after we got our bus tickets back to JB at 9am, we went to board the bus. oh, it cost RM24 each.
board the coach and we set off back to JB. slept for most of the time, and after the toilet break, i can't sleep anymore. baby went on to sleep because he had to work in the evening. so zhiyong, twinny and i chatted. haha. we reached Larkin JB at 1ish. from there we took bus service 170 to the custom and had our lunch at city square. walked around the mall as zhi yong wants to buy mooncake home, and we left for home at about 3ish.
there was a slight jam and we only reached singapore at about 4.30pm. baby then tell me that boss and him was sms-ing earlier on, and in the end he didn't had to go for work. haha, better still. so he can rest earlier. (: parted with twinny and zhiyong at singapore custom. they took 170 to kranji, whereas baby and i took 950 to woodlands interchange. met yuen fatt at the interchange, and he kept giving me those remarks about me having a boyfriend. nothing bad lah, as he was just being cheeky. haha.
we took 858 . baby sent me home, and rested at my place for a short while before he went home at about 6ish. my mom wanted bi to stay behind for dinner, but he wasn't feeling well so he went home instead. well, all in all i had loads of fun. it's afterall my first holiday trip with baby and friends. i believe there's more to come. (: and i believe my mom's more willing to trust me and baby more now. (:
hmm. with bi around, i always feel at ease and protected. and there's really nothing to be afraid of. love it when he's so affectionate towards me and at the same time protects me. yay baby! i love ya! =D
