Y The Aftermath.
"flame to dust. lovers to friends. why do all good things come to an end?" Labels: Nostalgic
how true ya? totally hooked to this new number by nelly furtado recently. sometimes i wonder will song heal our soul? well, certainly i guess. it can especially when one is down and they need to be quiet at times. don't worry. nothing's up with me, just some things which got me thinking. especially after attending the prom night last friday night.
separation is part and parcel of everyone's lives, but why does it make one feeling extremely low sometimes. was talking to lye hong and froggie about it earlier on, and we kinda missed hanging out together in school. i'm beginning to miss poly life. the vibrant school life we had. the feeling is always so strong whenever i step foot into our school atrium. why's that so? because i always have great company around! and i missed that so.
back in MSL, graduation did made the same impact on me. everyone had said to "keep in touch", but look at us now. how many of us are really keeping in touch? those classmates/schoolmates whom i'm still in touch with are really countable. is "keeping in touch" just a passing line, and not meant for keeping? ohwells. i guess that's all up to one to decide whether to keep in touch or to forget.
3 years seem short, but that was enough for W01 to foster such strong bond. or am i the only who believe in that? i hope not. i'm really thankful to know such great pals over my poly years, as they made my life in NP so bearable and fun! i'll never forget the human pyramid we had in year 1 orientation, zhe bin's birthday, the annual class chalets, cycling marathon, anniversaries, sheena's birthday, cny outings and whatnot.
the first day we knew each other, jason had plastered a "dead class" tag for all of us. who knows the following months and years, we became like brothers and sisters, relying and helping one another. despite having one after another leaving NP, our bonds still stay so strong. zhe bin, amirah and sherla (alright, bettina too, that is if she still regards us as her friends). we totally missed these people. the guys in W01 are like gems, as they're always taking care of the girls whenever we're out. and the girls are such darlings to me! although there's still hidden conflicts here and there, but damn, i loved each and every of them lah!
thinking about all these just makes me feel really emo, as i really don't wish to graduate so soon. but wells. sigh, we really ought to keep in touch fo'real man! 28th june! T.T
lots of loves. :) my debut photo montage! done it myself to tryout. the ending's not very good tho, as i'm still trying to make it perfect. teehee. :)
