Y Happy Pig Year!!!
Happy Pig Year!!! :)
it had been a busy new year eve for me. went for my manicure and pedicure appointment at Chong Pang this morning. and i'm absolutely mad about the price they charged me! black den owned by a group of vietnamese women! this is gonna be my first and last time patronizing that parlour!
i actually booked the slot to do the EXPRESS manicure and pedicure, and suppose to cost $29, inclusive of the CNY charges. when i went in, i assumed they know about my request and they assumed i wanted the classic manicure and pedicure which cost more. i sat the seat and they serviced for me. i found it weird when they started doing lots of extra things to my feet, so i asked about it. but i think i was too late, and they already did the classic pedicure for me halfway. i've no choice but to allow them to go on, but of cause for my hands, they'll be the express one. :(
another minus about this parlour is that, those manicurists had really weird and bad attitude! and slow service! they painted my nails in a unprofessional way too. and guess how much everything cost? a whoppin' amount of $54! omigod, from $29 to $54! a $25 difference wokay! :(

the only consoling thing was that, the nail art they drew on my thumbs looks pretty. each finger costs $4! that explains why i drew the thumbs only. lol.

stayed home in the afternoon, before having our home-cooked reunion dinner at home. ;) went Chinatown aftermath, and the place was sardine packed man! watched the live performance for a short while before leaving for the God of Fortune temple at Sembawang. head back home at 12ish.
i'm looking forward to the red packets tomorrow. however, i'm dreading all the pointless questions my relatives gonna fire at me. ohwells, it's part of visiting relatives, i guess. haha! alright, off to chill before tucking in.
