29 more hours till the year 2006 finally draws to an end.
since another year is coming to an end yet again, of cause, i can't forget my new set of new year's resolutions for the upcoming year. :)
well, the year 2006 has been rather erm, 'uneventful' for me.
so monotonous and dull.
and before i begin with the new resolutions, i've dug out the old ones from the blogger archive (which i wrote on my last entry in 2005);
1. brand new recovered me in 2006.
check! i finally left conrad and had gotten over the lost love. somehow. it's been more than a year now, but yeah, i don't harbour anymore of those unwanted thoughts. farewell, mr w. quek. :)
2. study hard.
check! i had been consistent with my studies, and thus, passing grades all year long. not with flying colours tho. but i'm contented. :)
3. earn more money
tried but failed.
4. learn how to trust the correct people
i don't know if ive done this. but yeah, i can only trust myself. :)
5. still have my close friends around me.
check. :)

well, i suppose new year's resolutions are never meant to be kept but just for the sake of promising ourselves a fresh start for the upcoming year. :) so here goes my new list;
1. pass my FYP and graduate from NP with pride.
2. lead a healthy lifestyle, with weekly yoga and daily crunches to start with. and probably adjust my biological clock back to normal once i started work.
3. get a good job and earn big bucks.
4. get my class 3 licence. and hopefully my family will get to share a car once both my brother and i get a full-time job.
5. come up with constructive plans with regards to my future; starting with short-term planning such as deciding what kind of job do i wanna have and also, the ultimate question of 'what do i wanna be' (that simple yet difficult question)
6. not to be affected/swayed by others' judgments; not just as in how i come across to people but be more assured of my capabilities and potentials when handling person-person relationships.
7. not be dependent on anyone anymore.
...and the list just goes on and on.
the year 2006 almost literally flew past for myself. looking back, i can't even remember a single memorable event that made any impact to last me through the following years. i swear i remember none, except those negative ones which i don't wanna remember at all.
hopefully the next year would be a year full of lessons, productive thoughts and a year of world peace. :) :)
what's up for me at NYE this year? ohwells. -shrugs-
farewell 2006, and hello 2007. :)
