Y An alien invaded my house.
5 minutes ago, a delivery man knocked on my neighbour's door with a huge bouquet of red roses on his hand. omg! those roses were so pretty lah. the sender must be some romantic indian man sending my neighbour those flowers. so sweeet right?

anyhows, today an alien invaded my house. this alien used its tiny hands and fingers to work on a big project together with me. haha! we had so much fun brainstorming and laughing in my room. alien and i spent hours working on that VERY messy table, and was finally done with our work. but we're left with one small part to get the thing fully completed. =)
and so, the alien was none other than kengey. riight, who else had tiny hands and fingers anyway. oops! :x

kengey joined my parents and i for dinner at Chong Pang.
we even went to register for the Yoga lessons together. kengey, me and our mothers are taking the lesson together. haha, how cool that's gonna be right? too bad kimmy couldn't join us.
and i'm so gonna look for a cheap yoga mat soon. =)

Y disappointed, again.
i just had a meeting with my FYP supervisor. all the errors resurfaced, and i'm having a hard time resolving each and every of them. screw it! i'm left with less than a month left before submission. shucks.
i just want to get this over and done with.

Y The OC
been watchin' Season 3 these day. know what? i'm never enough of The OC, and i've no idea why. really like the aura it gives me. and this season is so interesting. with all that twist, it makes me wanna watch on and on. despite a few episodes which were "faulty", i still relied on the sypnosis i found at the Fox website.
marissa&ryan and summer&seth were ever so sweet. both marissa and ryan went through alot together, and was even kicked out of Harbour high together. initially, ryan was under home tutor whereas marissa went Newport Union, where she met some new friends. the twist began there. even marissa's younger sister, kaitlin, was back on vacation from her boarding school. sheeesh, there's just so much development in this season and i can't wait to watch on. and oh btw, i seriously don't mind having a father like sandy. haha!
go catch this show if you have not! and now US is airing Season 4, which i'm, *ahem*, actually leeching it from the net slowly. tskk! :P

heh. i've been really into DIY accessories lately. yet again. and that belt is one of the very few items i've made. i really like the other item which i've made, which is meant to be a present, thus, no picture yet. teehee! i've more concepts in my mind, which i'm gonna start working on them, pretty soon. nope, exquisite elegance is no longer around, so i ain't selling any items. unless i find some sudden interest in doing a business, then i'll see. =)

1. you appeared to be an extrovert to almost everybody. you're loud and friendly at nature. however, i am sure there is an introvert side in you which you seldom, or maybe, never showed to anyone.
2. yes, most of the time you do. i assume that's because you didn't want anybody to worry for you. but hey, i'm here to listen to you anytime, 24/7, okay? =)
3. no, you're not a flirt. if you are, you'll probably be sleeping around already. you didn't, so you are not. =) everyone will sure have a selfish side in them, and that's for you to figure out yourself. you're irritating to a certain extent. if you will stop whining like a baby in order to get things your way, then prolly you're not at all irritating anymore. however, you're so much better now compared to last time before our fight.

Y Broke.
woots! i spent a whopping amount of SGD$44 buying some really GREAT and FUN stuffs today.
i can't wait for christmas. so have you got ready my christmas prezzies??? :D
anyhows, kengey and i are oh-so in love with Cheenatown after today's trip.
but then, i am so broke now. i've more things to pay for the next couple of weeks. Yoga lessons, yoga outfit/mat, phone bills, xiao hui's engagement gift, some birthday presents, etc. dang! i want to work! =\

Y Kbox + Mahjong!
no work today (saturday) afterall! reason? dont tell you. :P
since im up early, decided to go shopping with my mommy dearest. we took 855 down to Ikea @ Alexandra, and shopped around. had our lunch there. Meatballssss!!! xD bought a lil stuffs, before taking 855 back to Yishun.
after sending my mom back home, i took the train down to CCK Lot 1 to join kengey&co for another Kbox Session. there were kengey, kimmy, neth and li chung, and we sure had helluva fun time there! haha, take a look at how neth sang and where he actually put his mic. looks abit obsence lah.
and neth even took a viddy of kimmy and i singing a Coco Lee number. i loikeee. xD
haha!
we began at 9ish, and played one round before winding up at 11ish. i won $3 today. teehee. xD kengey sent all of us back home, and here i am blogging about my fun filled saturday. =)

Y My first love is getting engaged next month!
yes! xiao hui is getting engaged on the 9th december! i received his invitation via sms during work earlier on, and i swear i was oh-so shocked! it's like i just saw him with his girlfriend recently, and *booom*, now they're celebrating their engagement!
his invitation sms was in mandarin somemore!
"好消息！12月9日下午4点星期六我将会和我女友注册在我家。希望你能抽空过来！谢谢！"
Omg! although xiao hui is 3 years older than me, i still feel rather "old" hearing this kinda news. because it's gonna be an engagement party im attending! i am really happy for him, though it's kinda sad for me, because he is afterall, my first love. boohoohoo! i wonder who else he invited, as i've no company there. as xiao hui has stated, i can bring anyone to keep me company. so kengey, you're the chosen one! =)

hmmm. work has been good today. really slack! i've even got the time to watch the performance on stage, eat, talk, sms, drink, sit and whatnot. because i was the drinks server. we were released early at 11pm, so went to grab a bite at LJS with li'e before heading home.

since i was roaming round Orchard Road alone earlier on, i went to do some shopping. other than that, i went to pay off my library fines and borrowed a couple of books home to read. i've been hunting for books by the author, Cecelia Ahern, but to no avail. they had her books in the catalogue, but not on the shelves. or should i just buy them from the bookstores? damn.

Y what's life?
i'm now watching the last episode of Goong on TV again. i'm never sick of the show, and it's still so nice. Joo Ji Hoon is so charming, and he's taking my breath away. tsk!

i'm really sleepy today. was trying my very best not to doze off on the bus to school this morning, as i was afraid i'll miss my stop. haha! reached school at about 9ish, and began with my project. han de came shortly after to help me with some stuffs.
han de is really my 神. he managed to solve the error i've been facing for a week! however, there's the other error which occured and he was unable to solve. for that, froggie came and alas, she solved it. another 神. haha! they are good at VB, unlike me. =( and so, i'm done with both the Product Catalog and Check Out function. gotta move on and do the search function, register, and staff login. shucks, there's still lots to be completed. =(

had lunch with kengey and her friends today at Canteen 3. and they crashed ngee ann again, doing their project in eGarage. haha, that was when froggie came. did some catching up after she solved my error. haha! i just enjoy disturbing her. and we even started planning some EOY stuffs. haha.
stayed in eGarage till it was time for us to sign out. and head back home aftermath.

sometimes i'm really wondering what life is all about. is it about creating an image and trying to prove to others that our lives are better or can be better? why is the world so fast-paced and competitive? does anyone ever stop and think whether what they do are really what they enjoy doing? everyone is like following the world blindly. i don't understand why we go to school. to study to get the best job? why do people work so hard? to be the top in the company? if they're not happy, what's the point? there's no passion in anything, no meaning to life, just goals so that when u achieve them, u will be setting higher goals so as not to lose out. there will always be people who are better. the goals do not stop. setting, achieving, setting, achieving..
once upon a time, my goal in life was to be happy. how i wish the world revolves around me and not the other way round (i.e, i revolves around the world).

Y baaa.
this morning, lye hong made us some 爱心早餐 too! the sandwiches were so delicious!! haha. xD
i've been working on my FYP since morning. almost done with Checkout. am left with some errors to deal with. tried asking yi peng, but to no avail. tried contacting my ECAD lecturer, but i couldn't find him.
15th December is really nearing.. Sigh*
spent quite long at level 6 waiting for yi peng to help me solve the errors. had my lunch at canteen 1 at only 2ish, before going back to look for yi peng. anyhows, thanks yi peng! =)

Y Vainpot.
alot of stuffs has been going through my mind these days. somehow, i cant wait to graduate, so i can officially kiss goodbye to my FYP (though i dread parting with my friends). ive been thinking about my future alot lately. im getting on to the next phase of my life in months time, and what am i going to do?
i have many other things on my mind as well. but.. sigh.
it's better to left them unsaid.

riight. today li'e and i went to Asian Civilisation Museum for the president events rehearsal. i feel so "class" stepping into the Museum. haha! we were brought to this gallery, and all of us were Female! we were briefed one by one, and shucks! li'e and i were told we can't wear 2-piece wear. must wear a black dress! 24bucks gone. ohwells, at least i still can wear my black formal top for other occasion.
anyhows, we watched their rehearsal while waiting for further instructions. everything about this place is so arty. im pretty excited to be involved in this thursday's event, 'cause president nathan will be present! its a black-tie event. woots! xD
but wells. since we need black dress, li'e and i gotta find one before tomorrow, so that they can hire us. i was so disappointed initially, until i tried asking kengey if she has any black dresses to loan. took a train to her place to look at her dresses. in the end, i borrowed one of her mom's. teehee! i kinda liked the simplicity of that black dress her mom lent me. so, i'll tell the in-charge ive found one tomorrow, provided li'e found one too. because i wont go alone for sure. =)
im supposed to go home after borrowing the dress, but i was tempted to get my hands on the tiles again. thus, we contacted neth and lichung for a mahjong session. we began at 6ish, played 1 and 3quarter rounds before winding up at 10ish. teehee, ever since ive been a loser for most of the times, today im finally the sole winner. won 17bucks, thereabout. =)

dang, i'm feeling so high after an awesome KTV session with 2 crazy women.
skipped work this evening, and i got Lex to replace me this time round. teehee!

initially, i'm just meeting kengey and kimmy for lunch and to accompany kengey to collect her RAIN upcoming singapore concert ticket, but was psychoed by the two of them to skip work, again (the first time was to play mahjong, remember?). haha! they're such bad friends right?
we had lunch at Pastamania and li'e joined us aftermath. kengey went to collect her ticket with a bunch of rowdy girls (mad fans of RAIN), whereas kimmy, li'e and i went to look for li'e and my black formal top. i bought one pretty simple one at $24. =)
went to look for kengey, before we shopped around PS and Wisma Atria (we took bus back there) for li'e to find her black top. when we got everything done, it's almost time for li'e to go to work. then kimmy, kengey and i went to KBOX (Cine) for our session. we took the members no cover charge package. we sang from 5ish to 9pm, and it costs us about $11 each. for a weekend rate, i think it's not bad already.
woots! it's my first time going to the KTV with kimmy and kengey, and it's really fun. we totally went crazy and moved around alot! then i began screaming at every Fahrenheit's MV. why? because got AYYL! lolololol. and i mean really SCREAM out loud. haha, i bet you can possibly hear our screaming outside behind closed door. hahaha!

Y Certain things are better off left unsaid.
met up with li'e and lee hong before work to ease my Subway cravings. i totally dig eating Subway sandwiches. xD lee hong head back home aftermath, whereas li'e and i went off to work.
got changed before signing in at 5pm at Mandarin Court. today's function was some company's Gala dinner, and there's so many ang mor. their dinner's theme is "Oriental", so everywhere is like so cheenafied. there's even some opera masks around. haha! there were only 13 tables, and each table costs about a thousand over, thus we gotta do 1-to-1 side station portioning service. in another words, it's CONRAD style! haha, li'e and i loved that so much.
moron (right, his name is myron but we're just so used to calling him moron instead), li'e and i shared one side station at the far end. before dinner, the 3 of us even went behind the curtain to 吃蛇, until Oscar got us out. haha! no, he didn't scold us. =)
look what is li'e trying to do. lol!
before the dinner started, ben brought li'e and i to Belvedere, where the Casino was held, to take a look. high security there, with a handful of eyecandies around. i even saw this man who really resembles Einstein! hahahaha! the casino's really cool lah. i felt like i was watching some gambling movie live or something. haha! oh, today i saw that collegue of mine whom i think really looks like my AYYL. i saw his name tag already!!! and of all names, his name is Raymond. -_- but he's really cute lah. and he looks like AYYL!!! but i think he's younger than 19. =(
dinner started at about 7ish. everything is really similar to conrad's style. and oh, today we had our 8 course dinner again! although the menu was 9courses, but because the dessert was something we don't like, so that makes "our dinner" 8 courses only. haha! moron, li'e and i were like helping each other as well, taking turns to eat our "dinner". and i think tonight's courses were exceptionally nice. LOL.

the dinner ended at 11ish, and we cleared our tables till 11.30pm before we were released. li'e and i took a few of their opera masks and hid them under our vests before leaving. haha! and here's some pictures we took while changing to go home. dumb!

Y BBQ with the Conrad Security Uncles. =D
while waiting for my hair to dry, i'll take this time to blog about the awesome gathering with my conrad friends.
i truly had fun! =)

took 969 to meet li'e at tampines interchange at 6ish this evening, before we took 31 to meet the rest at tanah merah. oops, both of us were uber late and made everyone waited for us by the roadside. yups! uncle kok hwa and brother jimmy drove out to tanah merah to fetch us into this resort. dang, i forgot the name of the resort, but i know it kinda resembles loyang's. and oh, the 4 ex-conrad banqueters includes zhi ling, yun, li'e and myself. uncle kok hwa called me a few months ago and invited us to this BBQ gathering. all of us have school the next day, but we made it a point to be there just because we missed our friends. even zhi ling came down despite his O levels Amaths paper is at the next morning. so yay. =)
and i'm pretty sad to hear brother jimmy saying i've grown fatter. booo. =(
today was their 2nd night at the resort, so not many people were there already. upon reaching, we were totally delighted to see our favourite manager, jasmine, in the resort! haha. began catching up with her, before li'e, yun and i went to explore the second level. wells, i still think loyang's is much bigger and has more rooms. haha.
the girls had a mahjong session together! haha, it's like jasmine, yun, li'e and i were playing mahjong, whereas the guys (zhi ling, uncle kok hwa and brother jimmy) were BBQ-ing the food for us. tsk!! men are slaves to the women! wheeee!
anyhows, the mahjong we played was a simple one. "leng dou", i.e. no counting of 分, and we played the fixed amount - 50cents, 1 dollar. Meaning whoever games get 1dollar from the one who threw the tile to her and 50cents from the rest. this way is beneficial to players who do not how to calculate the 分. =)
jasmine played till 西风 before she left. dang, we forgot to take a picture with her! shall make a trip to Conrad someday just to take this picture with her. haha! right, zhi ling and uncle kok hwa took over jasmine from there, and we continued the game till the end. we finished the game at about 9ish, and i won $2 altogether. =D
uncle kok hwa and brother jimmy left to fetch uncle lim to the resort, while we stayed in the resort with another guy. err, i've never seen him before but he's also another security working in Conrad. so yay. while waiting for them to be back, all of us began camwhoring and K-singing some english oldies! woohaahaahaa! =P
i used my handphone, as i didn't bring my dcam. only li'e did. =P

when yun and i sang a duet - "I Finally Found Someone". and i think we sound nice. =P

brother jimmy and uncle kok hwa sent us to tanah merah mrt station, before all of us went home. crapped so much with the 2 uncles in front. haha! uncle kok hwa and i might be even holding a birthday celebration together in future! haha, i want a BIG ang pao from him! hahaa! then uncle kok hwa said something which i felt pretty honoured about.

teeheeheehee! =D Conrad is one place i'll never forget, because i made really wonderful friends there. and i really hope this will go on a long way. i even felt comfortable talking to zhi ling today. not that awkward anymore. i think we're more comfortable this way than what we were in the past. i hope he remains this way. =)
other than these security uncles, there were many other nice friends in BQT department. awww, i missed that place so much. missed everything and everyone except some managers. and if you have the need to know, i don't miss wilson. not anymore. =P

teehee. it's 2.10am now, and my hair's pretty dry already. have to go to school tomorrow. lots of loves! so, ciao y'll! =D
