Y IMF = inconvenience to the public.
psst. IMF is really causing so much inconvenience for the public! this afternoon i met up with li'e at 4ish with the intentions to collect our last weekend's pay. it's hard for us to really find the time this week to collect our pay together, 'cept for today. BUT, we didn't manage to collect our pay at all and it's IMF's fault! i hope i won't get into any trouble by bloggin' about this. no offence yo. just some personal POV.
the security at the City Hall area is really tight. there were police officers armed with weapons everywhere. every corner we turned, there's sure to be at least 2 officers patrolling. temasek boulevard was closed so there were metal railings down the whole stretch. then li'e and i couldn't jaywalk and cross the road to pan pac like we usually does. hence, we asked this officer by the road side about how can we cross over. he then told us to make a detour and cross via marina square second floor! wth. o.o
alright, and so we crossed via MS as told. we thought we could make it in time to collect our pay before the finance counter closes at 5pm. but we were stopped by MORE officers right at the staff entrance of pan pac. for what leh? wells, they need to check our I/C to tally their staff records. and then we've to walk through this cencor thingy, plus allow them to check our belongings. after that, then we can really enter the hotel! however, by the time we reached the finance counter, it has already closed! we checked the time, and it's 5.03pm! 3 minutes late only! why must they be so on.the.dot?!?! fumes*
and so we made a wasted trip. wasted my transport fees! and to make our trip still worthwhile, we went to have our early dinner at the newly opened Subway outlet at MS. then took the train to bugis to roam about. bumped into yi bin at Icon. he used to be my regular partner back in conrad, and one of the fastest and nicest. HAHA! been so long, i've never thought he can be such a good looking chap. for the first time today, both li'e and i think he's pretty good looking lah! hahahaha. and he dresses so... locally. if he didn't open his mouth, i wouldn't have thought he's actually from China. LOL!
heh. i seemed to bump into quite a number of people. saw benji (LSX) at bugis street, and he remembers me, so we said hi. haha! and earlier on, william just texted me asking if i was at bugis. he said he saw me, called me but i didn't hear. LOL! singapore's still shrinking..
riight.. 'nuff about the rantings. i feel it's high time i should clean up my room and wardrobe soon. =\ alright, off to watch some movies before i turn in for the day. school tomorrow. groans*
totally love this. and i can't seem to find it!
