Y Food Fair is HEAVEN. (:
went to work at Pan Pacific at 7am with li'e this morning. this is the last time i'm taking 857 to work, before the IMF begins tomorrow till the 20th. the government's really superficial. just because of this IMF, they actually spent a bomb to beautify our city. i believe just the suntec convention centre itselt, they must have had spent alot already. the entire entrace looks so bright and different now! with so many bright lightings and all the high security system added to it. not only that, the surrounding looked so different now too. the construction of the Circle line has been sped up, and the escalator of the mrt station is already there. and there were so many pretty sunflower and lovely purple flowers all around. in fact, i think the entire City hall area looks so 'new' now. lol!
and oh, even we, the pac pac part-timers, were given this lil IMF badges to pin on our uniform. although it's crappy, but i think the badge is cute. lol.
anyhows. work was pretty slack this morning. there wasn't much guests at all. our pantry was really packed. i think it's due to the IMF, whereby no unauthorized vehicles will be allowed into that area, thus all departments ordered 10days worth of goods supplies. same goes to our executive center of cause, and that is why our pantry is fully stocked up with everything. lol!
i was really bored and sleepy this morning. li'e and i kept nibbling on the food, and chit-chatting. or worse, we stood there watching the CNN news on screen. LOL! uber bored la. did the norm till 12.30pm before we both were released. went to change before making our way to City Hall mrt station platform to meet kengey.
then we went to Singapore Expo for the food fair together. there were many other fairs there as well. and the food fair was like whoa! the food.... wahhh, HEAVEN! we merely went half a round, and we've our stomach filled with all the yummy food! there were SO many items that i wanna eat lah. hahaha! i love going to food fairs. =D after we're done with the food fair, we went to the books fair and John Little warehouse sales till about 3ish before we left the Expo.
took the train to Tampines to take 969 home together with kengey, whereas li'e went to meritus to work. came home, and i switched on my computer to listen some songs. and then, i dozed off with my make-up and contact lenses still on. i am so so so so dead tired! woke up after awhile to shower. gonna go have my dinner now, then watch some shows before i'm going turn in early tonight. work again tomorrow. and that is when IMF starts.... hmmm.
