Y it was better..
first off, a very belated happy mama's day to all the proud mothers in the world. (:
my family had a simple celebration last week, thus it was just simple wishings to my mom this morning. both my dad and her are off to my cousin's place for their wedding, to drink tea. haha! oh yes! the wedding dinner's tomorrow night at amara hotel and i'm so going to go for it! it's time people serve me instead of me always serving them, no? wahaha!
anyhows. work today was slightly better than the last 2 nights, because steven was the main in-charge. although that black ass is still around finding people's mistakes and all. i got the same partner i've had last night, and he's not bad lah. however, steven thinks too highly of me and gave me and him 2 giant tables. both 14 pax. because the table is big, so i had difficulties reaching for the center susan to take/land things. haha! everytime i've to either stretch with all my might, all resort to getting steve or my partner to get for me. LOL!
my guests were great people, and both tables wrote good comments about me on the GCC cards. however, they're still a lil bit evil because they drank red wine and beer like consuming water. i've to make umpteen trips to the bar for the whole night that my feet hurts. ohwells. and because zhi ling's side station was right behind mine, he is, as usual, constantly helping my partner and me. Sighs*
dinner ended, and we did a quick clearing. i insisted on not staying, just because ramesh asked me to. for what i gonna help him anyway? grr. left at 12am and we went to change before taking the 12.30am transport back home. and now it's past 2am already and i'm still up. it's because i just talked to lu hua again. hmm, he's not in the best of mood tonight, so i just try cheering him up abit loh. i was just telling li'e today before work that i believe lu hua is one good soul-buddy to have, like a sister. haha! li'e and i were talking about this is because i was telling him that before i went to meet her, i had a chat with jae. haha! he's good at making one laugh. oh man, the craps that he said to me is real silly. wells, i'll be heading to jae's estate with my mom in june for some malay wedding lunch, so probably i'll buy him a birthday gift or something which i owed many years plus this year's coming too. =)
oh yay. i've spoken to my folks about what happened at work recently. they're pretty supportive of me quitting. so guess this week will be my last week, 'tho i'm still considering to MIA for the rest of my bookings. i wanna conrad die, but not mery. so yay, i'm still thinking.
alright, i should really get going. i've to wake up for school like 3hours plus later? damn. guess i'm skipping some of the lectures to come home to prepare for the wedding dinner at night. yay. o.Ov goodnights.
