Y grant my wish.
went for a couple of job interviews today together with li'e. frankly, after we've ever being employed for $6 per hour, each time we came across a pay lower than, let's say, $5 per hour, we felt really reluctant to take the job. we tried a few today at city hall area - suntec city and marina square. we tried gelare cafe, anderson's ice cream and the coffee club. the pay range is from $4.30 - $5.00 only. it's so pathetic can. ohwells, or maybe it's because we are too used to $6. oh, we had wanted to drop by raffles hotel to interview for banquet but the 2 times that we went, the in-charge was either having lunch break or had already knocked off. so yay, there goes that job for the time being.
the longest interview we had today was at the coffee club (marina square outlet), and i seriously think the outlet manager, brennan, is a nice chap! good-looking malay guy. and from what we can see, the staffs there seems rather nice. after a looooooong chat with the guy, i think li'e and are hired. we gave him our availability for next week, and hopefully by tomorrow they will call us for work. well, we'll just give it a try. xD it's just a part-time job, so no sweat.
after all the interviews, li'e and i began pampering ourselves. wells, because of some screw ups at conrad's finance department, we didn't receive our pay like the norm today. i contacted mery about it, and she assured me that by tomorrow (latest) we'll get it. and yay, i just checked and i got my pay at 11pm just now. BUT.. in the afternoon, we almost didn't get to enjoy and pamper ourselves because of the pay-less mood we were having. however, we managed to "dig out" some money to enjoy!

we had subway for lunch today. haha! oh, li'e and i caught Poseidon at the TheCathay in the evening. i swear this is the coolest flick i've caught so far. 4.5 chocobytes out of 5 for it!
intially, i had thought the storyline would be similar to Titanic and you know, all the romance starts coming in in the midst of the sinking of the ship. but nah, it wasn't exactly like that at all. i almost teared because there were some parts which were too touching. now i have second thoughts about having a cruise getaway because i can't freaking hell swim. haha! btw, li'e and i were screaming and shrieking in the cinema during the show. it's sooooo exciting lah. it's really worth the 7bucks. and i made the right choice watching this flick in a cinema with good sound system, instead of leeching it. :x
it began to pour after our movie, and we wanna go to bugis for shopping spree and dinner. thus, we cabbed there. hahaha! shopped around parco bugis junction, and we bumped into jason and wei liang. they saw us first, and hid behind this pillar. wah lao, they wanna hide also don't know how to hide, because i spotted wei liang's not-available-in-singapore-but-only-in-taiwan green adidas sneakers before we even see their faces. hahaha! chatted a lil, and we decided to meet for dinner at 8ish since we ain't hungry yet. went our separate ways to shop around aftermath.
at 8ish, jason called and we met again outside pastamania for dinner. jason's really lame, as usual. hahaha! anyhows, after dinner we went our separate ways once again. li'e and i went into bugis streets to shop this time. woohoo! my loots includes - a pretty jeans with pink lines and a really nice brown tee. the jeans really unique, and similar to the one i saw at my school's bazaar last year! the one i saw last year was too huge for me, plus its from "collage" and the one i bought today is much cheaper. 18bucks only! dirt cheap can. wahaha. i love my loots. retail therapy rocks. xD
went to take 851 home at 10ish. i had a blast today. we even talked about the memories we had in conrad. after watching Poseidon, i remembered during work on NYE. the fun-filled countdown and stuffs. OHWELLS. :/ right, thanks li'e for making my these few unhappy days so bearable (although at times her craziness is driving me nuts. hoh, mad ass? =x). sometimes, a friendship that has both ups and downs last longer. just like tiffany and kengey. i had quite alot of unhappy times with them as well, and look at us now, we're still keeping in touch and friendship bond is as strong as before. in fact, stronger. right girls?
yay. li'e and i had our fair shares of fights too, and we overcomed all. till today, we're more frank with each other. and whatever that we're unhappy about each other, we'll speak up and resolve them. forgive and forget. frankly, i hope to see all of us (froggie and yun as well) back like in the past some day. whatever unhappiness or conflicts in the past will all be gone. this thought of mine has been in my heart all these while since the start of the semester. will this ever come true afterall? sigh..
i love li'e as much as i love yun and froggie. (note: not those kinda homo love, mind you) will we all be happy once again? :/ i hope i'm not stirring troubles by bringing this up. if i did, i'm sorry.

put that aside for now. i've got a good news to share. that is, i'm shortlisted for my internship application - NCS.
so this wednesday i'm going down for the interview. wish me good luck alright? (:
hmm, and to "balance" up the good news, i've a bad news too. common test week is just 2 weeks' away. oh my holy shit! i'm so not prepared lah. damn!
modules i'm taking: QLA. MWS. MBA.
omg! and tomorrow there's QLA quiz on topic 1 - 3, and i know nuts about topic 3. i'm such a dead meat. ):
but i'm looking forward to the short break after that week. teehee!
