Y SIA PPS Club
damn. i've been turning late almost every nights nowadays. school's starting soon, and i gotta adjust my bio clock back to normal, like soon? what to do? i just got home from work, and i'm dying to watch a couple of episodes of er nan zai ji dian. AH NAN IS SO CUTEEEEEE! gwad, he's uber swoon-inducing aiight. xD
right, worked at 5pm today with froggie. because something happens in yun's family recently, so she gotta cancel all her bookings this week. take care, nnp! (: met up wit froggie and marhaini then we got changed and had our dinner in the canteen together, before reporting upstairs. jovin stopped us and did something which got dalland, himself and us laughing non-stop. went to the ballroom and steven got us to do some miscelleneous stuffs, before we had our briefing by him at about 5ish close to 6.
as mentioned, it's some SIA PPS Club function tonight again. it's the 3rd one since march already. fusion mix dinner again. we were assigned to work in a 5 people to 4 tables basis today. my team consists of froggie (YES! we're in the same team again!), gao tao, tini's bro and a newcomer malay boy. after the briefing and staffing, we went to serve cocktail. damn funny. froggie and i tends to stick to each other and attempted to chit-chat whenever we had the chance. each time steve spotted us, he'll pull us apart. haha, but he never scolded us. :x
after cocktail, dinner began. for my team, it was a mess. froggie and i think that the guys really cannot make it! the new guy totally don't know what to do! what's worst was that, he never asked what he's supposed to do at all and stood at one side to stare! we were so damn frustrated can. then the 3 guys took damn long to pick up every courses. froggie and i had to do all the serving all by ourselves. the beverages too. every SIA functions will have wines to take care of. without fail. thus, it's pretty tedious at times. our side station was jammed all the time, for god knows why. ended up ramesh pitied us and came and helped us a lil at times too. haha.
actually, during briefing, i found tonight's event was much easier and straightforward than the previous 2 we had before, but because of the lousy team mates i've got, our group almost screwed up everything. but still, everything's fine afterall. (: after all the 4 courses were served, we were gathered outside then the guys were asked to do other stuffs, whereas all the girls standby their stations. no wonder the guys weren't allowed in the ballroom! because they had a talk by some doctor about plastic surgery. they had some power point presentation with pictures of all the female private parts! froggie and i were chit-chatting at one side, and at the same time watched the screen. it was really gross. eurgh. :x
after the talk, the guests left and we began turning over. when everything's almost done, steven and ramesh got froggie and i to went round the entire place (basement 1 and level 2) to count the number of two-toned maroon and cream cloths, black/white setting cloth, gold runners and gold overlays. clean and soiled ones all must count. marhaini helped us too. everyone were signed out at 12am except the 3 of us who were busy counting every pieces of cloth in salon5 till 12.30am then we were let off. haha! damn funny can. :x
took our time to change, ate our supper before taking the 1.30am transport home. side note, i think my appetite at night is scary...
ohwells. will be working alone at 5.30pm tomorrow. because of that, i gotta reject kengey to go zouk with johnson&gang tomorrow night. wells, tomorrow gonna be some small event, and if i'm not wrong i'll be the only girl working. sad. i'll be alone at work from tomorrow till saturday.. ohwells. ):
sometimes i just hope he'll stop bragging. especially in front of me. i've no feelings towards this anymore. numbed. (:
