Y its been so long..
been feeling really uncomfortable in the throat the whole day, and now i'm feeling better after drinking a glass of honey water. best remedy to soothe the throat. i think i'm falling sick soon. felt really heat up all over.
i gave MSL annual sports meet a miss today, as i'm working at 6pm. nnp had said to meet earlier today at 4.30pm, and i had wanted to check some things out at marina square thus i went out much earlier. and when i'm done with what i wanna check, nnp then changed to meet at 5pm instead. HAIS, i walked around aimlessly like an idiot and then finally settled down at the bus stop 45minutes before 5pm to wait for nnp.
nnp and froggie reached at about 10minutes past 5pm. froggie went to ritz carlton whereas nnp and i went to conrad. we changed into GP uniforms, had our dinner before reporting to the ballroom. yay, we're helping GP tonight again. initially, when mery asked if we wanted to work for GP, i hesistated because of the previous experience. but in the end i agreed to it, because there's hardly any functions this month so we ain't earning enough and also because lu hua was working as well. but i think it's still a mistake afterall. read on.
we reported to the assitant manager, eileen, and she told us to do some shits. at times i find that the GP staffs are really making full use of the banquet staffs, and let their own staffs do easier jobs. ARGH. oh, the banquet staffs who worked today were xia yun, lu hua, ge jing, nnp and i. right, we had a very messy and brief meeting by eileen aftermath. THEY WERE SO DAMN NOT ORGANISED! gave instructions that are so unclear somemore. after that, we went to serve cocktail, which obviously most guests ain't drinking lah. stewpig.
and then, dinner began at about 8ish. oh, it was some 80th year old birthday celebration. small private dinner lah. 4 courses in total, all individual portion. we have to serve together, and at times check drinks only. i hate this staff, yoke yan! why can't she go and take the drinks guest ordered from her herself when she can jolly well go straight to the bar and get, but turn and ask me to take for her, which i gotta head to the backlane AND THEN to the bar to get. stupid!
anyway, because of the previous time when they ate at the backlane and got us to clear, this time round we are smarter. we will eat the food at the backlane whenever we have the chance. and today i managed to eat ALOT! tsktsktsk. by the end of the dinner, i was feeling so bloated already lah. haha! and then the host actually gave ANGPAUS to all the staffs! nnp and i missed that! we were at the backlane clearing stuffs. by the time we were out after luhua came getting us, the host already stop distributing angpaus. how sad. ): BUT, we forced luhua to divide his share with us! hahahaha. there was only 6bucks in it, so each of us get 2bucks from him. HAHAHA.
right, helped to clear abit and we were signed off at 11.30pm. went to change and eat before taking the 12.30am transport home. sigh, tonight and tomorrow i've no more shows to watch. i finished watching zhen ming tian nu, and nnp haven't burn the other shows for me. boring.
sigh, in the end, i still chose to keep everything in my heart. all i know is that, i feel upset, disappointed and taken for granted. sighs. why? ): nevermind, i still can survive alone!
