Y happy 20th birthday, damn frog! :x
one hectic week of insane travelling and studies had gone past.
Finally.
today's friday, which means its IS day. had lessons from 8am to 12pm. met up with li'e at the bus stop, before walking to the class together. froggie was late. OH OH!! happy 20th birthday you this damn OLD FROG! croaks* WAHAHA. enjoy your day with zhi yong tonight, and tomorrow it'll be OUR DAY. hurrhurrr. dim sum buffet, but i'll feel oh-so lonely. ): couples couples~ ): will you be my date?
anyhows, i had WISP at 8am at block 5. the W01s in the same class as me were froggie, li'e, ain and rahim. wells, i find this module a pretty interesting one. talking about stereotyping and all these stuffs. we had fun listening to all the stereotypes towards different races. haha. pretty fun. :D we were released at 9ish, then the 3 of us went to the atrium to grab a bite, before climbing the god damn hill near canteen 1 up to block 53 for our human communication.
needless to say, we were late for class. we couldn't find the room man! haha. when we stepped into the class, we spotted jason. yay, another familiar face! (: oh, before i took my seat, someone called out to me and guess who's that? it's chin chuan (better known as ah chuan), my primary school friend! haha, kim, kengey and i were speaking about him just recently and today he's in the same HUMCOM class as me. will have to see him every friday from now on. haha!
HUMCOM is basically about communication between people and people. right at the start, we were given assessment, both individual and group. we formed our groups almost instantly! my team consists of li'e, froggie, jason and our new-found friend, ben. well, ben is jian wen's friend and thus jason sorta know him as well. haha! and conincidentally, he happens to be froggie's and my PI team mate! lol. yay, we had a few group discussions today, and jason's as usual, funny. yay, with him in our group, everything will be great! :D
finished school at about 12pm. head to the bookstore to purchase our notes, before li'e and i took off to Ikea, whereas froggie went off to meet her friends. we took 61 and alighted opposite queensway shopping centre. popped in to check out our long-awaited class jersey, which i've long wanted to do so since eons ago. haha! we managed to get in some shops with good tees and prices. decided to call and discuss with the rest before coming back, which the uncle told us to come back after their lunch break at 2pm.
meanwhile, li'e and i crossed over to Ikea. had a small meal at the Ikea Cafe&Restaurant. tried the swedish meatball over there, and it's yummylicious aiight! highly recommended. hahaha. we totally had our fills, before began walking around. saw so many interesting stuffs that got the both of us all hyped up. i suddenly had the urge to revamp my room all over! but all these need money. damn, maybe i'll start small. teehee. but then ah, i've a small problem. that is my platform bed, which is too big to change position. haha, nevermind. walked around till 3ish, and we both both a few items. i got myself a white wall clock which costs only 3bucks, small boxes (2for$3) and some household item for my mom.
we head back to queensway shopping centre aftermath. took a break before going into the shop and made our orders. we decided on the white&black adidas piece. $30 per piece. most probably it'll be ready by next friday. YAY! our long awaited class jersey! XD
it began to pour when we were about to leave for home. we waited for the rain to subside before going our separate ways home. i took 855 home, and yishun was still raining meows and woofs, so i was drenched second time this week. i hate it when i bring brolley yet it never rains, then it'll rain when i didn't bring one. dammit!
off to write some reflections for PI and HUMCOM. i feel hardworking nowadays. aiya, it's only the beginning. hmmm. tata!
