Y coffee break.
heh. my first time working morning shift today, and it's ain't that bad lah. woke up at 5am, got ready and left my house at 5.45am. i feel weird going out even before my family wake up. hmm, took 857 to work and surprisingly, the traffic flow was good. no jams no nothing. and i reached conrad at 6.25am.
signed in, and waited outside the housekeeping to wait for them to open up at 6.45am, before getting my uniforms to get change. report upstairs at 7am, and i was asked to go to south room to report to dalland. SIAN. have to face him early in the morning, BUT, he's okay today lah. went to prepare ice water for the meeting at south room, then settled some stuffs at the foyer before i stand by to wait for guests to come in. some meeting then there's coffee breaks lah.
once guests arrived, they began having the light breakfast prepared for them. all i had to do was to standby at the coffee machine to make coffee for them. this event was meant for 60pax and i've to handle alone! then dalland quickly went to salon4 to grab aunty mary to help me out, since their side (with berry) starts only at 9am. by the way, this morning there's only berry, dalland, aunty mary and i working. phew, after a short while, the guests proceeded into the room for their meeting.
that was when i began refreshing the foyer. top up the coffee beans and stuffs, then clear those breakfast. and at 10am, there's another break for them. before that, i went to pick up their snacks and displayed them at the same place. at 10am, same thing happens. coffee break. it's for half an hour only, then they went in to continue with their meetings. the meeting will end at noon, thus no more breaks. i began clearing everything, and at 11.30am i was released for lunch.
after lunch, i was given a task by dalland. that is to clear everything, then set the entire north foyer. he framed up the place for me, then hand me the event order to prepare the whole area. side plates, dessert plate, soup bowls, tea cups, cutleries and etc. i was all alone setting up that area, so i took my time. haha! i got everything done at 3pm, and i can go home. dalland wasn't around so i had to go to 4th floor to look for steven to sign my voucher for me. stupig steve disturb me and don't let me go home. haha!
after awhile, went to rot at mery's desk for a short while before i went to change and left for home. nnp was asking me to go to her place, but i was too tired so i went home to sleep instead. will be working 5pm tomorrow evening. i'm so tired man. zzz.
