Y combo post.
sunday:
had a mini celebration for my brother's birthday in the afternoon. we had some steamboat lunch at home, and that was when my bro and i began to talk after 2days of the cold war. went to study ISDT, before getting ready for work at 3ish.
met up with nnp and li'e as usual for work, before signing in. went to grab a bite before reporting in the ballroom at 6pm. samsi conducted a grooming briefing (training), as there's many new TCC staffs who worked last night. when he came to the part about the standard kind of black shoes for everyone, he got me to take off my shoes on the spot to tell everyone my kind of shoes is not acceptable! so shy lah. have to take off shoes in front of so many people. thank goodness my shoes smells nice! WAHA. but wells, both li'e and i don't bother about changing shoes. we prefer wearing flats lah. legs won't ache that easily. (: anyways, we're not the only girls wearing flats, so yay. :x
after the briefing, i was assigned to partner a TCC china guy who worked for less than a week, i think. nnp's partner was worst off than mine i think. lol, we think nnp's partner looked like li'e and my WT tutor, mr teng - the lao fu zi. haha! and as for my partner, i think he looks like ET, like some kind of aliens. tskk, i know i'm bad. haha! riight, went to be the usher at the stairs during cocktail, before i'm allowed back in the ballroom. most of my beverages were settled by zhi ling when i got in. wells, that's according to li'e. shrugs*
alright, i finally got the chance to communicate with my partner, 'cause i was ushering outside and didn't had the chance earlier on. haha, and he seems new, but he's not a bad partner, considering he's a tcc cheena guy. lol. he carried in ALL the oval trays, and serve for me. all i had to do was to portion and serve as well. but at least, i carried NONE of the oval trays. (: but our beverages were quite poor, because somehow we've got no time to check on them, plus the bar is too far. we're at the south room. AND, i think the food caller last night was practically rushing for train. the food are out so fast lah! we totally got no time to catch our breath man. haha! all in all, everything went smoothly. (:
everyone cleared their tables till 12am before steve sent most staffs back. a handful of us OT and turned over the entire ballroom. meeting style, then have to arrange IBMs and chairs. then steve got me to wipe wine glasses, and blahblahblah. we were then signed out at 3.30am! late ya? there's hell loads of shits to do okay. we were all dead tired after that. waited for the 4am cabs, and guess what? i took the mercedez cab home! wahaha. route 2 rocks. the uncle was like speeding, then i got home at 4.25am. ate my bro's bday cake before i KO.
monday:
woke up at 11am and i felt totally drained. slacked before i got ready for work. i'm too tired and lazy to cross the overhead bridge, thus i chose to take the train to work today. met up with li'e at the control station at 2ish, before strolling over to conrad. we were really strolling our way there, because both of us were really really really tired. zzz. once we reached the hotel, we even took our own sweet time to change and all that. we were signed in under the executive lounge and wore black&white.
although we were working in salon by the pool (SBTP) and managed by us, banquet, but the event's under the executive lounge. li'e and i were under berry the whole day, and he rocks lah! haha. there were only berry, li'e, this exec. lounge lady, doreen, and me in SBTP. all we had to do was to standby inside and if there's guests, just serve them drinks and that's all. it's full open bar, so they can have any drinks. then there's finger food for them to eat. food is self-service, so we only had to clear and refresh the settings. but the thing is, there wasn't much guests today! really very little. damn slack. i can walk around and sms even. lol.
li'e and i were released for dinner at 5pm, and berry gave us 40minutes break instead of 30 minutes! moreover, our break time money wasn't deducted at all! wah, berry rocks lah! LOL. after dinner, it's doreen's then berry's turns to eat. still not many guests there, then li'e and i began nibbling at the hot snacks and fruits! hahahaha. we really ate alot! berry even allowed us to do so. oh, then zhi ling dropped by during his dinner break. lol, he was helping steve with the turnover at level2. then li'e and i began taking pictures here and there. :x

li'e and i had thought this is char siew pau, but end up it's chicken pau. we got high when we saw char siew pau, but was really disappointed when we tasted it and knew it wasn't. booo. lol.

haha! after 8pm, there's totally no guests. then li'e was sent to 31st floor to "kio sai", whereas i stayed to help berry set up for next day's morning breakfast. haha, berry did practically everything himself. i just had to walk here and there help him with little stuffs. i think berry's a changed person. i used to hate him because he's arrogant, but ever since he's with samantha, he's such a nicer person! hahaha. we chit-chat alot too, then when we finished with everything, we took the chairs and sat in front of the TV to watch some shows on channel 5, while waiting for doreen to come and sign my vouchers. before that, i did went to bqt office to collect my vouchers. haha.
i was then signed out at 9.30pm, and i went to sign out in bqt office. there was only him alone in the office, and i have to sign some things in the office. imagine that quietness when there's just the 2 of us in a room. sighs. he was playing some mp3s on his phone, and i was rather surprised that he actually listened to kelly clarkson's "because of you". i thought he wasn't the kind to listen english songs, except for bsb's. ohwells, i know the reasons behind it. i just knew. sighs. that was the song i always listen, and it reflects my feelings. but.. sighs. li'e and i both agreed that he's a changed person. his attitude especially. ohwells....
went to change, while waiting for li'e. she's signed out at 10pm. went into the canteen to use the internet while waiting for her. once she's released, she came to B1 to look for me, then we had to back up to 2nd floor. that was when the 3 of us (he, me and li'e) took the same lifts. i tried to be normal and talk to li'e like normal, but my heart's shrinking. ):
riight, after li'e has changed, we decided to have supper at makansutra. before that, we walked into pan pacific to explore and pay a visit to twinny, whom we thought she was working. but when i called her, she told me she's at home and had worked in the morning instead. haha! then we just walked around and explored. i didn't know panpac's interior is so grand! nicer than conrad man! just the lobby lounge already took my breath away. lol.

haha! after that, then we went to makansutra to eat before walking to the mrt station to take the train home. i got home only at 12ish, and came online to chat with friends. haha, buggy just told me that my birthday present is still with him, and ben contributed in it too. hmm, i didn't expect that. thanks guys, in advance. (:
alright, i'm really very very very tired. gotta hit the sack immediately. it's 1.34am right now. working 3pm tomorrow, and i hope it'll be as slack as today. =D
damn, i need to mug badly.
