Y a visit to uncle kokhwa's house. - the title's so like compo's title. lol.
the CNY holidays has come to an end (even though there's 12 more days of it to go), and school's resuming tomorrow. how sad. thank goodness lessons start only at 2pm tomorrow, so i still can sleep in later abit. teehee!
riight, today i got up at noon and got ready for steve sim and jing xuan to pick me up at 2pm. lol, that same big lorry again. i took rather long to get dressed, as i can't decide which shoes and bag to go along with my outfit. i even irritate my brother by asking him again and again. wahaha! in the end i wore pumps with my usual handbag.
my get-up. i love this new top. i bought it last friday with leehong and twinny. (;
after picking me up, we went on to seng kang to pick melvin up from his grandma's place. i don't know why but melvin always reminds me of wilson. ohwells, i think it's partly because i know melvin's existance was all due to wilson. they were on pretty good terms at one time, then melvin tends to call wilson now and then when i'm around to talk shit with him. sigh. =\
anyway, after picking melvin up, we went to AMK mrt station to pick the rest (nnp, zhi ling and luhua) up. btw, i was supposed to be meeting everyone at AMK too, but last night steve and jing xuan called and insisted on picking me up. shrugs* after which, we went to look for uncle kok hwa's flat at avenue 3. it was tough looking for a parking lot for that huge vehicle. lol. we found one still anyway.
alright, we went up to uncle kok hwa's house and did the usual greeting thingy. haha! it's like some major conrad gathering. there were 3 other security uncles around in uncle kokhwa's house. after collecting our ang paus, we began our gambling den.
we played mahjong. boy, i regretted sitting down to play with this uncle (i don't know his name, but he's our security too). he's such a PRO loh. totally like my dad's standard. nnp and i felt like we had just board the pirate ship! the players were nnp, that uncle, steve sim and me. both sim and uncle were pro players loh. nnp and i wanted to play small small, like say 10 cent 20cents, or at most 20 cents 40 cents, but they insisted on play bigger. in the end, we all agreed on 30cents 60cents, but NO LOH!! they cheat us, and the bet has become like $1 $2!! wth. we played one round, the dong round, and i've lost a total of #25 already. that uncle kept making big cards, and i lost $10 to him for 2 rounds already. how they calculate? i've no idea!! everything's going so fast. i know what's my weakness in gambling already. argh! when i began losing big money, my hands will start shaking. lu hua, patrick (he came later), jingxuan, the other uncles, were standing around to watch. i shake more! lu hua even offered to take over me, then the loss he'll cover and i'll take the wins (if there is lah). for that, thank you, luhua! =D i was trembling so much, that steve sim decided to stop the game. and lu hua left at that time to meet a friend.
we swapped to play blackjack after that. more players came to play this time round. melvin combined with sim to become the banker. WAHAHA. i'm like steve's nemesis today. he never seems to win when i cup cards for him. LOL. i was doing real good in blackjack, and i won back what i lost earlier plus a lil more! i felt really awkward at one time, that is zhi ling kept acting like my other half. he kept asking me if i need any thing to eat or drink, or whatever a other half have to do. like wth?! steve was looking at me weirdly, plus i felt damn ... uneasy. i kept looking over to nnp for help, but that slow pork don't seem to get the hint. -.- okay nevermind about that. we continued our cards game till 6pm, before the uncles left and we, the young ones, changed game.
heh, we played mahjong again. WAHAHAHA. i seriously can never get enough of mahjong. :x the players this time were steve, jingxuan, nnp and i. and we agreed on playing 20cents 40cents this time round. haha! and my luck's picking up all the way. at times uncle kok hwa will take over jing xuan awhile, then together with steve, they two pro players will tend to talk alot of rubbish to confuse nnp and i. but i kept warning nnp to be alert, because i can tell they did it on purpose. hrmp, don't even try. i was winning at first, until the last round when jing xuan sorta become more and more lucky. she kept gaming, and in the end, i lost 20cents in all. but overall, today i won $9.80 altogether. LOL! poor nnp. she lost $18 in all and was lectured by patrick after that. we finished our game at 9ish tho. steve wanted to send me off, but i was sorta mad at him for treating nnp badly, so i attitude with him a little. :x
riight, so steve, jingxuan and melvin went off, whereas patrick, zhiling, nnp and i walked to AMK central for our late dinner at MosBurger. went to played a few rounds of pool aftermath. only nnp and i played, and the guys watched. haha! its really been eons since i last played pool alright. only recently kinda addicted to yahoo pool, so i suggested playing today. haha! it was fun. and we played till 10ish before we went our seperate ways home. i had to walk a distance to the bus stop for me to take bus home, and zhi ling insisted on walking me there, even though i told him not to. alright, then he walked me till the bridge before i shoo him off to take train home.
riight, shall go slack a little before i'm going to bed. some random things..
- my back's aching now. i've been sitting on that damn backless chair to gamble for the whole day already.
- luhua, thanks for trusting me. (: i just finished talking on the phone with him.
- sigh, he just asked me out on vday. i told him no 'cause its school day, but he insisted on me not to answer him so soon. so guess it'll still be a no.
- i still can't stop thinking about him. wonder how's his CNY over at batu pahat. wonder how's he. sigh... why?
- i can't decide where to go tomorrow after school. feel like going for some shopping. after paying off my bills, that is.
- riight, gotta help nnp with her OOP assignment. java suxors.. =\
okie. 'nuff said. nights all!
