Y sorry, i miss you..

hey i'm back to blog! CNY has been pretty mundane this year. day one has past, and i'm spending my day two afternoon at home. boo, gotta wait till evening time then i'll heading over to kengey's place for MAHJONG! come on baby~

riight, how did i spent my yesterday? here's it. my family and i got up at 7ish, and prepared for our usual CNY routine. there's a slight change this year, due to the not very good situation in the maternal side of my family. for the past few years, we'll usually visit my grandpa's house opposite my house first, before visiting my granny's place in marsiling and then we'll be stuck there for the rest of the day to gamble. that was the norm, but this year we swapped and visited my granny's place first before my grandpa's. and this year there's no gambling, so we went home to rest after that.

anyways, this year my day one outfit was pretty simple. i even decided on my top at the very last minute. haha! i wore a brown halter top to go along with my new levi's pants. then i wore the black pumps i bought in JB to go along. simple~

at my granny's place, i collected 6 ang paus. it was cousin derrick's first year distributing ang pau this year!! lol, he just got married last june, remember? lol. then uncle raymond brought his baby son over, and he's so cuteeeee lah!!! omg. teehee. and also, my aunt was like asking me about wilson. where is he and stuffs. sighs* we slacked there for about an hour or so before we left. see, we didn't stayed on like the past few years. felt pretty awkward and upset tho'. riight...

then we reached my grandpa's place at 11ish. i missed that place man. the block was where my family and i used to stay. we stayed 11th floor, and 3 units belong to my family, my grandpa's and my dad's eldest brother's. the corridor felt like it's ours only. haha! but we've moved, so only 2 units belong to us. this year we stayed in my grandpa's house slightly longer. managed to see more relatives this year as they usually came in the afternoon. went over to next door after awhile. haha, my cousins were still as warm as ever. their place was crowded man. after collecting our ang paus and eating, we sat around to chit-chat. just my cousins, my brother and i. ai ying began asking me about wilson. she's the only one who knew about him. alright, told her a little bit lah. sigh, why like that? reminds me of him only. ):

went back over to my grandpa's for a while before we left for home. my brother went to his girlfriend's place after that. for first time in history, we get to go home so early to NAP on the first day of CNY. i came home and rested, then decided to ask nnp and zhiling out for company. we agreed to meet to go to the Riverside Hongbao 2006 in the evening. went to meet them at city hall at 6ish. accompanied nnp to eat at Mosburget at Raffles City. zhiling got me the CNY version of conrad bear. small one. LOL!

went to marina square to meet my parents, brother, angelia and my cousin, ivan, after that. we're going to the Riverside Hongbao 2006 together. this year's was so boring alright. the crowd was like WHOA and it also began to drizzle after awhile. we left about half an hour later. my brother and his girlfriend left with their friends after that.

went into marina square GV with the intentions to catch a movie together. yes, all 6 of us (ivan, my parents, zhiling, nnp and i). haha, in the end all the movie slots were either selling fast or sold out. changed of plans to play pool, but it's fully booked as well. in the end, we played in the arcade. yes, my dad played daytona too! lol. we played for a short while, before nnp suggested playing mahjong at my house. so the 4 kids squeezed at the back of my dad's car, and off to my place we went.

we began our mahjong at 11ish and we had a great time playing. the players were nnp, ivan, my mom and i. zhi ling was playing with my laptop. he has real great patience, i must say. he waited for all of us to finish our game, when he can actually go home first. anyways, mahjong was great. ivan was the pro, and we were having tuition. learnt more insights of mahjong today. and i can't stop teasing nnp about some silly matters. WAHAHAHA! we played till 1ish when we ended the round. guess what? i was the SOLE winner of the night. all of them lost money, and i won $5.90 in total. wahaha! dog year is good year for me, i hope! :x

riight, ivan cabbed home whereas zhiling and nnp ton at my place, because they didn't wanna cab home. that'll be damn expensive alright. one's in clementi and the other's at kallang. haha. so i had to stay up to keep them company. yawns* we went to 7-11 to buy food (even though my mom cooked some food for us already), before coming back and eat in my room. we rot and slacked in style. then nnp and i scandal on the bed. we had the snoring competition. hahaha! it was hell of a joke can. i think we seriouly irritated zhi ling who was playing my laptop. lol. and i think nnp got so bored that she began talking to my giant conrad bear. very funny lah.

until about 5ish, i became so lethargic that i dozed off a little. zzzz, then at about 6am, they left to take the first train home. haha, and finally i got to sleep till 12ish just now. my second aunt's at my place right now. lol, another ang pau collected. =D and i'm off to start my day two now... ciaos! (:
