Y friday the 13th - blessing in disguise.

phew* i'm finally able to sit down and blog right now. was busy packing some stuffs earlier on. teehee. anyhows. today's friday the 13th and my day was filled with lots of surprises. both good and bad. haha!

stunned! my dear gan bei lover caught me totally stunned. lol.

riight. i was up bitching with lu hua over the phone till 1ish last night, and thus this morning i woke up feeling even more shagged than yesterday. haha! woke up and took my own sweet time to prepare for school. at about 8am, then i left house and had breakfast with my mom downstairs, before taking 852 to school. waited for li'e and twinny at the bus stop before heading to open our stall. and my DEAR LI'E gave me my present today too! a jumbo birthday card which she spent the whole night thinking how to decorate it and a really cool bracelet which i wanted. i realised this year's presents that i received all came early plus they were stuffs that i want. lol. loads of thanks man. =D

once we got everything set up, some students approached us and informed us that the lot we are using was actually booked by them from 10am onwards. we were stunned and tried to argue with them in a pretty nice tone saying we booked that lot too. they were sure that they did not make a mistake, thusi logged on NPal using my laptop to double check. they were right. our booking for these few days were actually from 8am to 9am only. WTH? okay, probably for the past few days nobody approached us like today. so together with them, li'e and i went to the estate management office to check things out.

the in-charge checked many things with us, before deciding to find a corner with plugs for us to set up our stall. and thus, we packed our stuffs and let the other group to set their things up. the in-charge gave us a table and allowed us to set up our stall in the study area at the convention basement. it's directly beside the stairs passway towards canteen 1. there's its advantages and disadvantages of shifting over to that area, i guess. teehee!

what's bad was that we were the one and only stall at that area, so everybody were giving us weird glances. and also, that area was so damn stuffy and hot! grr. however, we still think this entire thing was still a blessing in disguise. because there were more goods than bads! =D we were the one and only stall means customers will LOOK at our stall only. and everybody MUST pass by our stall whenever they wanna go to canteen 1 or was outta canteen 1. the people flow was damn good.

riight, business began coming in. the usuals (luhua, nnp, lee hong and kwok keong) came too. while we were running our business, we were working on our UD presentation using my laptop at the same time. and now, it's 90% done! =D then at 1ish, kengey dropped by our stall after her driving lessons. haha, she came specially to support me and to give me a surprise. i went to lead her over from canteen 1. she came and gave me my very early birthday present!! it's the bag i got my eyes on the other day!!! haha. not only that, she bought me a piece of cake as well. she actually surprised me man. initially, she made me believe that she had bought that bag for herself, because she was using it in front of me. until she began removing another bag which belongs to her, and hand that bag to me, THEN i know it's actually meant for me. teehee, i love you kengey lah!!! teehee. and so, she bought a banana split from us, which she insisted on paying it 'tho i told li'e to charge that to my "account". haha!

anyways, ever since kengey's arrival, more and more customers came streaming to us. she even got 2 of her HCL friends, who happened to be NP students, to support us. both bought banana split, mind you! haha. kengey hanged around my stall till about 4pm before she left for work. (: then we continued business till about 4ish before we decided to close shop. mainly because we finished all the tubs of ice cream and were only left with abit of the chocolate ice cream. for that, we had our very own chocolate buffet which we got nnp, luhua and all to help themselves with the leftovers. haha! plus we made a few scoops and treated those people over at the cookie and blended ice stalls. they treated us so we treated them too. (:

after which, we began calculating our earnings. WAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! we made a profit of $35.80 in total. it's not much, but the word 'profit' is enough to made all of us beamed! =D this actually gave us a total indescribable feeling. a great sense of achievement. really. ((: so we split up the total amount, got back our own capital AND split the profits! although it's not much, but that's enough. from this project, we gained a really great experience. and we learnt many things. especially that, SCOOPING ICE CREAM IS NOT EASY!!!! my right index finger was actually a lil swollen after all the scooping alright. haha. and many other advantages lah. all in all, i enjoyed every bit of this project. (:

and at 5ish, we packed up and went off. locked up the freezer for one last night, and tomorrow the ice cream man will come and collect it. which means twinny and i had to make a trip to school for this to be done. (: we left school aftermath. twinny went off to meet zhi yong, whereas nnp, li'e, lee hong and i took 52 to clementi for dinner. had wanted to go IMM instead, but because we were complaining how drained we were, so we alighted at clementi instead. moreover, i was carrying quite a number of things - laptop and the presents. haha. tireddddd. zzzz.

we had so much fun over dinner in Mac. we were laughing so hard at all the jokes we made. looks like all of us were in good mood today. kind of. wahaha! left for home at 8ish aftermath. i'm still very tired, yet i tried to pack my room. lol. that's because i'm having visitors on next monday. yay, my girls, luhua and zhiling are coming over my place on my birthday for a small gathering. NOT celebration. like i said, i don't want any birthday. :/ but still, thanks for all the effort. i love you all LAH. teehee. (:

haha. i'm now chatting with neeky and he's sharing with me his love story. and OMG. okay, nevermind. hahahaha! working tomorrow at 6pm. =D and now, i'm gonna go finish what i need to do. so laters~ (:
