Y birthday updates!

yawns* i'm just up from my short nap. i've been devoid of sleep ever since the launch of my I&E activity. turning in late and waking up early for a week alright! i'm totally exhausted. and finally finally, tomorrow i'll be able to sleep in later than usual, since lessons will begin only at 2pm. haha! riight, here's my birthday updates! (:

16/1 monday:

even though it's my 19th birthday, but school goes on as per normal. woke up at 6am before making my way to school. we were early as we need to submit our ISDT assignment by 8.45am. after submitting our assignment, we went to eat our breakfast in canteen 3. then we had our WT practical lesson in e-garage. it was just some RFID demostration which i still know nuts about. haha! towards the end of the lesson, i wasn't aware that li'e had actually told mr teng that it was my birthday. then mr teng got the whole class to sing me a birthday song. omigosh, i was shocked. lol. smiles*

after practical, my class decided to skip the following UD and WT lectures. so we followed suit and went off. li'e, twinny and i took 61 to bukit batok central and we waited for the comic shop, tenchi, to open up at 11am. while waiting, li'e went to buy a small cake from vemicakes for me. i thought she was buying for herself, but she bought it and presented to me saying it's for me. haha, i had to eat that on the spot before it melts. thanks girl!! =D

went into the comic shop to look around aftermath. initially, we were just browsing through, then twinny and i sort of decided to sign up as member. according to the lady, there's a branch in Yishun, so yay, i'll be signing up as a member soon. we wanna wait till the CNY promotions. teehee! =D so the 3 of us stayed in the shop to read comics for an hour, which costs 2bucks only. i read crayon shinchan and one more. haha, that's so cool. then 1 hour later, we left and head over to twinny's place, as i've promised lu hua to help him borrow comics from twinny. haha!

at about 2ish, we took 852 from the interchange to my place. sleeping spells fall onto us when we were on the bus. we were dead tired from all the rushing on the previous night. the bus was so stuffy alright. zzz. yay, so we reached my place at about 3ish and my mom came home soon after. we rested awhile, before going over to the MRT station to wait for nnp and jing xuan. O.O nnp actually bought me a birthday cake without me knowing. i hadn't wanted any cakes because i find no need to. then jing xuan passed me the present from herself and steve sim, the barman. i seriously didn't expect steve to give me a present. both of them bought me one soft toy each. one terter and the other is a bugs bunny. haha!

went back home aftermath. then amirah babe came at about 4ish. haha, she remembers the way to my house! haha, she came up all by herself and gave me a really sweet gift. one starry&furry photo cushion (?) and a bracelet. it's really pretty! (: then zhi ling came next. he looks different this time. hmmm. we started our mahjong session afterwhich. li'e, zhi ling, nnp and twinny. haha! then at 5ish, lu hua texted and told me he's reaching so i went to the bus stop to bring him over. he brought me all the DVDs i wanna watch!!! wahaha. great entertainment during the vacations 1mth plus later. =D he gave me some fragrant essence thingy as birthday gift. very nice. (: then.... nnp wants me to go the mrt station to bring patrick in at 6ish. see, i've been going up and down the stairs for so many times. i'm uber tired. zzz. and by the time i'm back, my brother&friends and kengey were already here.

at 7ish, we began digging in. a real simple dinner prepared by my mommy dearest. (: i didn't managed to eat much tho. after dinner, all of us rot in my room whereas my brother and his friends played mahjong. everyone's pretty much entertained in my room. haha! i only know my room was turned upside down after that. nnp and lu hua were having some pillow fights. haha! so entertaining. :x then they got me to open up and take out every presents, and wants me to take pictures. blahhh. for once, i'm not really enthu about taking pictures so not many pictures to post. i feel tired and lazy lah. and i don't know why but twinny said i'm forcing myself too much to smile. really?

at 8ish, amirah wanted to leave so we cut the cake first before she leaves. haha, nnp bought me a pandan kaya cake. sang song, blow the candles, cut cakes, distributed cakes. blah blah. they wanted to sabo me, but ended up never. i'm actually very lazy to go into details now. went back to my room to slack aftermath. everyone's eyes were glued to my television set, whereas twinny, li'e and i were trying to continue with our UD presentation ppt. i'm so sick and tired of school sometimes. all these shitty workloads are driving me insane. my 18th birthday was like that, and now 19th's too. arghh. i had no mood to work on the powerpoint, so i let li'e and twinny to do. well, it was just some editing on their parts anyway. i wasn't feeling too good at that time. i don't know why i was still hoping. sigh.

at 10pm, kengey left for home first. then 10ish, lu hua, nnp and twinny left too. then there were only those east-siders (zhiling, li'e and jing xuan) stayed to wait for steve sim to send them home. haha! zhi ling was using my laptop, while we girls rot in the room. steve came at 11ish, and jing xuan got me to call him to direct him the way. haha, he's really a road idiot! he came here so many times before (his ex-gf stayed around my estate too) and yet he can't remember the way here! haha. i hadn't wanted to go down with them to wait for him actually, but steve got me to go down. so yay, went down to thank him for the present then i'm home. i felt really unwell. gastric pain. i came home, washed up and cleaned up before i turned in at 12ish.

lastly, thanks for all the msn and sms wishes from all my friends. even people like yi liang, ben, william, kim all that remembered. really appreciated that. and jae drew me something nice on msn. haha! (: but of all wishes, none came from him. sigh, guess we're really drawing a line now. i know it was stupid of me to hope so much, like what lu hua said. ohwells, nevermind. it's over and done. frankly, i don't feel any bit of happy feeling in me at all, BUT i seriously do appreciate everything my friends did and all the company. really. (:

and that was how i spent my 19th birthday. (=

17/1 tuesday:

felt really tired still, and so i decided to skip SA and slept in till 9am before heading for UD at 11am. that was when we had our presentation. i wasn't really well prepared, even though i've did my work. but still, i didn't read through the slides again. so i just briefly read through the slides and roughly presented. we were doing a device comparison presentation for IPod Mini and Zen Micro. i was surprised that mr chew actually complimented our work. haha! at 12pm, we had WT tutorial. haha, mr teng told us grandmother stories again. zzz. he actually dared us to do a Yoga position, saying whoever can do what he did FIRST, he'll give the person 10bucks. it's a very easy position lah! like some kind of lotus position. it'll be very unsightly for girls to do that in public, so none of us. JASON DID! hahaha! and sure enough, mr teng gave him 10bucks. haha, so funny! :x

before we left for lunch break at 1pm, sheena and lye hong told me to go over then they passed me a belated birthday present. teehee, it's so sweet of them. (: they bought me a black beady necklace, and there's a black rose!! very unique~ (: apart from that, there's another pack of CHOCOLATES!! lol, very nice indeed. thanks girls, =D and so we had our lunch together with lu hua in canteen 2. haha, then we chatted so much. now luhua is practically like our jie mei, because we talks about everything and anything. at 2pm, we went back for class whereas lu hua went to rot in the library before his next lessons begin. we had PM, which i totally had any energy to focus. i kept yawning away. until towards the end of the class, jianwen they all were discussing about CNY. we had decided to go our visiting trips on the 5th of feb, 8th day of CNY. haha! oh yay! =D ang paussss~~ (:

after we were dismissed, i went back home immediately. ZZZZ. dead tired.
