Y i need a massage.
13o8o5, happy 19th birthday, neeky!!!!! =D hmmm, in about 2 hours' time, my brother will be leaving for taiwan for one freaking month. he's going there for training, which means xiao hui is going too? i think so. i just got home and my brother's still up. guess he's not gonna sleep tonight and go to the airport straight away later on. perhaps i will be staying up with him to send him off - out the door. hahahaha. :x or maybe not? because i'm dog-gone tired right now.
was waken by baby's call on my saturday morning at 11ish telling me something regarding my booking for next week. wells, next week both larling and i will be working only on wednesday at 5pm. we've got no lessons on wednesday because it's assignment presentation day and our group's slot is on monday so we don't have to go school on wednesday. woohoo! =D okay, after buying my own lunch, i went online and discussed about DB with larling. we did some editing to zhe bin's case study and some other stuffs. and FINALLY, we've completed DB!!! XD shall concentrate on OOP and MAD assignments real soon. :
got ready for work at 3ish and went to the suntec convention bus stop to meet larling and pei yun. oh, pei yun worked with us today too, because baby called and asked me to check if she's able to work since they need more staffs. went into conrad, signed in and we got changed. went to the canteen for a drink. i did not eat as i didn't had any appetite then. went to report at the ballroom at 6pm for the briefing. baby caught pei yun's coloured hair and sprayed it black for her with a evilish+cheeky laughter. lol, that's according to pei yun because she came and mimic everything to me. tsk tsk.
vicki briefed us on everything. surprisingly, it was a chinese wedding dinner, despite it being the 7th month now. i think it's because this couple is living and working in the states and are christian, so they don't really believe in such. alright, we were assigned to our tables aftermath. larling VIP. vicki got me to be runner leh. she really think too highly of me leh. but i didn't dared to say "no" to her, 'cause she even offered to help me. so i was asked to work 1-to-1, as in i run and serve one table on my own. one woman show eh? lol. my table was directly beside peiyun's and buddhi's. buddhi even tried to ask vicki if it's possible for him to help me, then we 3 will be 3-to-3. BUT.. vicki said no because she wants me to learn to be runner. sad. ):
did some miscelleneous stuffs before the door opens at about 8pm. today, i only got to see baby a few times, and talked none at all. ): brought pei yun around before the door opens. when guests started streaming in, i began serving my table and stuffs. did first course presentation and i started portioning the first course. i don't know why but i was trembling alot. after portioning, i went to serve. then top up drinks. i felt busy at first, but second course onwards, vicki helped me portion and also bring out food. occationally, she will help me carry oval trays, but some of the times, i carried myself. i tell you, it's damn tough to carry that thing. i don't know lah, but it's tough to hold that thing on my shoulder. there was once my arms were shaking so much that i almost dropped everything, but luckily i got to the stewarding in time to land everything. phew* OH! one thing that i hated, that is there's this door to the back area near the bar is so darn heavy! it's so hard to open it, especially when you are carrying a tray full of shits! argh.
anyways, i was still able to manage everything though my arms were numb after landing each oval tray. since vicki helped me do the portioning, i was free at some time, so i was asked to help buddhi to help pei yun. that poor girl must be panicking alot, 'cause she spilled a glass of coke on one of the guest's shirt. :\ riight, helped her a lil before i went to do my own stuffs. dinner ended late today at 11ish. and according to barry, the guest wrote something about me on the comments card. barry said "well done, girl" and flashed the card to me for a short while, and i saw my name at the start of the sentence, and the comment is quite long. more than 2 lines i think? hmm. wonders*
did a quick turnover after that. the toughest part was clearing of the susan. i've already wiped mine clean and wanted to go in, but there was a "susan custom" at the door. benedict was there to check everyone's susan before we can keep it. hahahaha. the susan gotta be absolutely clean before we may pass. argh, my arms' already breaking, then still gotta carry in and out, in and out. irritating can. ~!$%^# after that, stack up chairs and clear linen. then we were all signed out at 12mn. pei yun and i went to change and wait for larling in the changing room. after getting our vouchers, i went to quickly grab a bite in the canteen. i was starving! argh.
went to the lobby to wait for our transport. got larling to massage my left arm for me while waiting. so achy. i'm still feeling the numbness till now. riight, you may call me a weakling, but you go and try it if you are of my
texted baby after work, hoping to get some comfort from him, but that zhu tou must be sound asleep already so didn't reply my message. booo. x( nevermind, maybe i'll get to meet him tomorrow. teehee.
sigh. i've got a bad omen on something. ohwells. i shouldn't be so negative about it right? yay, be positive. (: alrighty, i shall try rot in style while waiting for my parents to be awake to send my brother off together. but i'm tired leh, how? nevermind, wo REN! if not i won't be able to see my brother for ONE month leh. :\ i'm a good sister, remember? haha.
i need a massage now. anybody?
