Y happy 18th birthday, amirah babe!
oh no, my nose is bleeding again. second time of the week. i should really sleep soon, that is, after my hair dries. yawn, i just got back home from work, and i'm so zonked out.
met up with larling at the bus stop slightly earlier today, as we wanna go to the Levi's store to try out the pants. larling's buying it before she flies to states, and i think i'm only gonna get my 593 next time. (: went to work aftermath. took our time to change, before going to the canteen to rot. i skipped dinner again. :x met baby in the canteen sitting with teckson. that damn teckson kept giving me those i-know-your-secret glances. hahaha, but it's alright lah.
went to report at 6pm. i got excited when i knew that tonight's function was VJC Teachers' Day Celebration, because i remembered my former geography teacher, mrs dawn lee, has been transferred there to be their VP. i thought i could see her or something, but well, i didn't afterall. my partner tonight was lu jia at east door again, and it's 2-to-4 tables. it was easy, because it's just a buffet function. (:
went to serve cocktail, and i kept looking out for mrs lee, but no sign of her. :\ oh, their celebration's theme was "Under the Sea" and all the teachers were dressed up in sucha unique and cute way. there's nemo, dori, pirate, octopus, etc etc. there were many interesting costumes lah, that totally cranked some of us up. hahaha. :x we slacked during cocktail, chit-chat and walk around lah. as usual. get to see and talk to baby a lil before he knocks off. (: talked to teckson as well, and what's the meaning of ma que shui xiao, ke shi shen me dou you??? teckson kept saying that phrase to me, and i don't really get it. haha.
dinner began at 7ish, and everything's so easy. serve beverage and wait for buffet to start, then clear their plates after they are done. and with lujia as my partner, he's always so fast and helpful. i hardly had much to do. so i stood there to watch their games and speeches. hey, it was my first time witnessing a bunch of TEACHERS acting so crazily leh. they were playing games, and running about. oh my, more like teachers in a market. haha, i stood there and chit-chat with lujia about school, and about lulu. pretty boring lah.
well, i went to ask one of my guests if mrs lee is still the VP, and he told me that mrs lee has been transferred to MOE HQ. woot woot! =D she's upgrading man. lol. dinner went smoothly, and towards the end, we gathered at the back and ramesh split us up again. together with tini and hui lin, we have to clear everything (except guests' drinks) for 8 tables. in the end, i had to carry oval tray in as well. and dammit, ramesh saw me capable of carrying oval tray, so he came in and got me to carry more in. darn. :\ there's once when i was to open the damn door near the bar, i yelled out to teckson who's at the bar to help me open the door. hahaha, heavy lah. :x tomorrow sure muscle ache again. :
larling told me that samsi asked her about me, commented that i'm very quiet. then larling told him that he's so wrong, because i'm actually a very noisy and lame person. aiyo! then samsi came and asked me, and teased me about it the whole time. i don't know why but he's always asking me how's my boyfriend. hahaha, and i always give him the same answer, that is 'good loh'. hahaha. :x oh, twinny sms-ed me during work (she's working in pan pac btw) that she actually dropped a susan onto her right foot. OMIGOSH! i got so worried that i replied her immediately asking how is she. well, she has got 2 days MC and she gotta depend on clutches for these few days. poor girl. hope she gets well soon. and yay, zhi yong and her are fine now. =D
anyhows, dinner ended at 10ish and turnover was simple, which was to refresh everything. all the staffs even gathered and sit around to eat the leftover food. we joked and laughed so loudly lah. jamie's laughter is so contagious. :x HALLEHLUYAH~~~ hahaha, that has became our inside joke now. i had fun today. (:
baby texted me at 11ish. it's the first time i received a forward message from him. teeheehee. =D then we chat a lil, before i continue to work. and i sms him again after work. tomorrow he's given an off day, so most prolly i'll be meeting him after school for awhile before he's off to do some shopping with esmond. well, what i feel was that, after that talk the other night, at least he's slightly better le. yea, i hope so. =)
okay, i needa turn in now as i gotta wake up at 10am tomorrow. yawn. OH, happy 18th birthday, my dearest BABE!!! hopefully my sms sent to aussie can make ya smile at least. hang in there, babe. i love you. =D
